You just did a great job with comments but started the song late and ended it early. Tish tish. I see you’re just getting started and I’m very glad you found Angelina Jordan. The other two artist you mentioned are both excellent. Both have beautiful voices and both use very dramatic staging movements. One sings so high only dogs can hear him. Angelina has a solid jazz influence from a very early age and has many professional voice coaches describing her as a musical genius. Thank you for delving into her background. So many people just assume things and never get the true picture. My fellow Angelina supporters are very loyal and are much better at helping with history lessons and know more about posting links and other technical things than I do so please read their comments. Take care from Alaska and I’ll be back for sure!

Wondering if she had fun??? There is nothing that can make this girl so happy as to perform live for an audience! Also many, mostly older people, have convinced her that her voice moves people and comforts them! So she grew up knowing that her singing serves a purpose! You will find out soon if you do some research. Her fans (like me) adore her!

Her "Shield" (her family) along with her multicultural and Nordic background has produced a well-balanced individual. Angelina knows as well as everyone else that she has unique talents, but it does not inflate her ego or reduce her innate humility. As she said when she was 6 years old when she met the poor girl that caused her to always perform barefoot, her wish was to sing to the whole world - which is exactly what she is achieving in her own quiet way.

What was interesting about that statement about Angelina not smiling and looked like she wasn't having fun is the very thing that makes people dislike child singers .. their mothers and voice teachers always telling them to smile. I believe she was looking for things not to like her for. She was so very sure she didn't like child singers ..

Angelina's physical body was 10 years old for this performance but her soul was older than the hills. I have heard, many times in my 64 years, that person was born to sing. Once I learned about Angelina and listened to her sing in at least 8 different genres before becoming a teen, I now believe she is THE ONLY one who was truly born to sing. Like you, I used to believe children vocalists can't evoke emotion because they haven't lived a life. I no longer believe that and I know for myself and countless others, Angelina is the ultimate singer story teller whose voice has a positive physical effect, like it is hugging my soul. All you need to do is to listen to her 180 or so songs she has available and then tell me otherwise. There is no need to wait for Angelina to get older than her current 17, you will be surprised and pleased by each and every of the 180 songs already available. I prefer her versions of jazz standards over all of the greats who are smiling in heaven because Angelina is keeping their music alive. Please take the time to read the biography for my all time favorite musical artist whose talents are only exceeded by her humility and empathy. Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman. Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on KZfaq. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz. Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage. *Why Angelina always performs barefoot* At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website, angelinajordanofficial Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old. At age 7, Angelina’s audition on Norway’s Got Talent, was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. Angelina had turned 8 years old for her next performance on NGT, covering Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. When asked what she would like to do with the prize money she won (500,000 kroner or about $80,000), Angelina replied, “I want to give it to the poor children”. Angelina had become a star in her native Norway and her videos on KZfaq went viral. She gave a few concerts during the summer of 2014 while 8 years old. In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration. Angelina’s family took her to United States, Brazil, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Russia, South Korea, Singapore among other corners of Earth, to perform for heads of state and to help raise money for charity. All before Angelina turned 14. At age 9, Angelina recorded a music video covering the 1956 Jay Hawkin’s classic, “I Put a Spell On You”. The video begins by showing Angelina writing her “wishes” for how she wants to perform the song. Angelina has always created her own arrangements for her cover songs. At age 10 and just a week before her 11th birthday, Angelina recorded a demo of “I’m Still Holding Out for You”. Her family never pursued having that recording officially released but someone leaked it on a KZfaq video. Thankfully, everyone involved with that song is now ok with the leaked version. Many angels (fans) believe this is one of Angelina’s best performances. When Angelina was 11, she performed a number of concerts in Norway with a jazz/rock band. Those concerts included up to 14 songs, each remarkably performed. Angelina seems to be at her best when on stage, never nervous, only 100% confident. Also at age 11, Angelina recorded her “It’s Magic” album which has, at times, been in the top 10 best selling jazz albums. The album can be purchased on iTunes or Amazon. On June 27, 2018, at age 12, Jordan performed “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. She has said that was the high point of her young career which was already in it’s 6th year. During 2018, Angelina lost her paternal grandfather, her friend Avicii and one of her idols, Aretha Franklin. She did a moving tribute for each. In 2019, Angelina accepted an invitation to compete in the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent (AGT), The Champions. She had, since age 3, wanted to perform for Simon Cowell and she earned his praise with her genius arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The surviving members of Queen loved it so much they put a link to it on their Twitter. Angelina was eliminated after covering Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”. Angelina’s family refused to sign any agreement with AGT. Angelina, before age 14, had covered more than 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 genres, all of which are available on KZfaq. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. On KZfaq, search on The Complete Works of Angelina Jordan as Rusty Shackleford has put all songs in one file and has a complete playlist in the description of that video. The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Her family agreed to a contract with Republic Records in August 2020. Republic Records declared Angelina Jordan their highest priority new artist. Reportedly her family requested Republic to allow her as normal a childhood as possible and therefore have yet to fully promote her. During the pandemic, Angelina was often seen buying meals for the homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one. Angelina had previously released, 3 other original songs: “What is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” In April 2021, her original “7th Heaven” was released. A jazzy, danceable, inspiring song. Angelina has posted numerous short performances on Tik Tok and Instagram. Angelina had concerts in Norway in July 2022. Personally, Angelina as a great human being and her music came into my life when I needed it most. Her music has improved the quality of my life more than I can express. I now introduce her to as many people as I can, with the hope her music will do the same for others. We know once her family believes the time is right and allows Republic Records to fully promote her, she will become the superstar she has always dreamt and believed she would be. I encourage others to use this biography to help educate others about the love, empathy, magic and beauty that is Angelina Jordan Astar and her unique music.

She is in her happy place, the stage, orchestra, audience, singing her heart out. She begged her mom to let her sing on the stage at Norway's Got Talent, where she sang jazz and blues in her third language of English at 7 years old, and won. At the point in this video she had been singing for over 7 years and recoding for at least 5 years. But her parents have turned down many professional offers so she would have a chance at a relatively normal childhood. Angelina is destined to be among the top vocalists of our age, while still today at 17 she is a very humble and gentle soul.

Enjoyed your disclaimer about children singers, wasn't surprised at the very beginning of her performance "that's a big voice for a little girl" I chuckled heartily when you said "I hope she's having fun" and "she's too young" (in regards to understanding the lyrics).. and that you forgot her age, when you winced while she climbed up her little vocal ladder just to growl her way down (you expected excellence from the "child") already setting a bar for her. I really liked that you stuttered a bit when you tried to find words for your final determination and I LOVED that you ended up saying you needed to do a little research, now that she's older (turned 17 earlier this month) "what she's doing now"... Well, I'm certain you'll be pleasantly surprised from the responses (both quantity and quality) you'll be inundated with from us ANGEL's (the sign name for Angelina fans). She was named a National Treasure in her home country of Norway, a published author @ 9yrs old, a Philanthropist @ 8yrs old (donating her winnings from Norway's Got Talent) to children's charities.. sung @Nobel Awards, for President's, for Quincy Jones' 85th Birthday Gala (at his invitation AND he designated her to be the opening act, (at 12 yrs old singing FLY ME TO THE MOON with full orchestra) plus called her "the best voice he's heard since Michael Jackson". I LOVED the SMILES you shared and positive comments like "Holy crap" and "this girl can sing" and you're"anxious" to learn more...your curiosity has been stirred, her voice has attracted your interest and Angelina has made another " Reactor" think twice about the possibility this was a child Prodigy (based on her natural talents and gifted voice) writing original songs, etc., etc. Looking forward to see what you pick to view next.. there's at least 150+ songs to choose from😂😂😂 PEACE & BLESSINGS. 🎶🎷🎹🎼🎻🎧🎙️🎤🎵👏🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎

Nice reaction. I don't think you need to worry about Angelina. She is self driven, self-motivated, and loves singing on stage more than anything. She is well protected by her family and limits her performances and insists she has as normal a childhood and schooling as she can. From what I understand, Angelina is looking forward to finishing school and releasing her 1st album this summer.

Ancient Greek Philosopher Plato said that "Music is a moral law. It gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness, and life to everything. It is the essence of order, and leads to all that is good, just and beautiful, of which it is the invisible, but nevertheless dazzling, passionate, and eternal form". I think Plato must have Forseen the coming of Angelina Jordan when he scribed this beautiful quote!. Never in my 55 years on this Earth have i witnessed anything as beautiful as Angelina's Voice! New subscriber - thanks to your very nice reaction to & appreciation of Angelina's masterful performance - at age 10. Welcome to Angelina's world! Angelina Jordan from Norway just turned 17 this month & has well over 180 covers along with some original songs readily available on KZfaq. But - in order to better understand her musical roots & early influencers - I highly recommend all 4 of her Norway Got Talent performances (Gloomy Sunday, I'm A Fool To Want You, Bang Bang & Summertime) - at ages 7-8. And why did she go on NGT at age 7? Well - she actually wanted to go on there earlier, but 7 was the minimum age. And/or - to really appreciate her raw talent, you need to watch her black & white performance of I Put A Spell On You (which she also arranged) - at age 9. Thank you. And may GOD continue to watch over & bless Angelina Jordan.

Great reaction to a vocal tour-de-force! She is so much more than just talent. You are about to fall into the vortex of Angelina Jordan who arguably brings the most confident, versatile, seemingly effortless, and fearless vocal artistry found today (whether measured across artists, genres, or decades). You may think this an exaggeration but listen to a few more of her many performances (160+ covers plus original songs - all on YT) and you will see! She has been performing at a high level all over the world since age 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent singing Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and Gershwin. It is the rare singer that can, as Angelina has done, go from Queen to "Screamin" Jay Hawkins to Adele to Elvis to Whitney Houston to Michael Jackson to Etta James to James Brown to Amy Winehouse to the Beatles (and many others in between) and do them all justice! If you want to hear music, listen to anyone. If you want to feel music, listen to Angelina. It is tempting to think one so young cannot know of what she sings, but somehow Angelina does! She will stagger you with her ability to find and bring forth the 'essence', the emotional message of nearly any song. You have far to go with Angelina. She is equally comfortable and equally able to impact us whether singing a cappella, accompanied only by a piano or guitar, in front of professional studio musicians or a 40-piece military band. With her immense vocal toolkit, arranging ability (yeah, that too, since about 8yo or so) and the work ethic to make what she does only 'seem' effortless, she will hopefully be touching hearts for a long time to come. Wait until you figure out why she performs barefoot! Why God has performed the miracle of touching the world with one of such talent, musical IQ, commitment, and generosity as Angelina we can wonder but we must all marvel. Welcome aboard the AJ train! Please react to more of her impressive library.

Recommend you read the biography provided by Andy Schnell in the comments, many of your questions will be answered. Many of us feel that Angelina is an empath and is truly able to feel and express the emotions of the songs she sings, even at these young ages. I sincerely hope you will react more to Angelina, you will not regret it! Also, please let the videos run to the end. Angelina often smiles and or waves and says "bye" at the end of her videos. Genius Exceptional intellectual or creative power, the greatest musical genius of our time is Angelina Jordan. Can one be hypnotized by sound? Shamans use rhythmic drumming and chanting to achieve control over a mind. Angelina's is unique in that she has the ability to create audios that trigger your brains "frequency following response". She has the ability to create a euphoric addiction to her total being similar to drugs, but without the side effects, she is in fact, like nothing I have ever experienced in the past.

Cause you would of totally thought she was a 30 year woman or more, and if that's the case.. What does her age really matter in that case? She has many masterpieces at age 10... New Sub here. Love the reaction. All the research you need will be right here in the comments. AJ has a dedicated fan base like no other. This child has been singing for 8 years leading up to this performance. She is the most talented versatile and humble artist I've ever seen in 67 years. You'll see. Suggestion, run her videos until the end, always. This one had her smiling at the end, what you were looking for. She many times waves and says bye". Also nice to include her links . Enjoy the journey.

AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years and toured with Barbara Streisand accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show that aired Dec 23 of 21, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. Rob has been working with AJ from the very 1st day Republic signed her at age 14. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.)

Tiny Little Girl Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.

What you will soon realize is that Angelina today at 17 Angelina is already the best Jazz singer on the Planet! Soon to be one of the Best Vocalists of All Time. ♥👣👸🏻 Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 yrs old after starting the competition at 7 yrs old. The youngest winner of any Got Talent show on the planet. She had to wait two years because you had to be 7 yrs old to enter. She started with a rendition of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' which she just infused with Billie's soul. She followed this by another Billie classic with a pitch perfect rendition of 'I'm a Fool to Want You' acapella. Her next performance was a beautiful rendition of 'Bang, Bang' by Sonny & Cher and performed most famously by Nancy Sinatra. She won the competition with what I consider her first Masterpiece performance of 'Summertime' by George Gershwin. Shortly after winning she was designated a National Treasure by the Norwegian people. ♥👣👸🏻 There is video of Angelina recorded by her mother Sarah Astar singing a couple of lines of "I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston when she was 18 months old. She started studying all the greats of Jazz soon after under the guidance of her Iranian Grandmother Mery Zamani a child prodigy in her own right as an artist and poet. English is Angelina's 3rd language behind Norwegian and Farsi along with Japanese and some German and perhaps more. She did this from 2 & 3 yrs old by scrolling thru KZfaq of all their most Iconic performance. Angelina doesn't just mimic these greats, she reinterprets them and then simply sings them the way they were meant to be sung. She makes them her own. Angelina was begging her mother to go on "that Simon show" when she was 3 yrs old. encouraged to sing children songs, she would have none of that. Angelina chooses her own songs and she is absolutely fearless. No song is too big and no artist is too Iconic. All the most Iconic songs by the most Iconic singers in music history. Angelina has said singing to her is as important to her as breathing. ♥👣👸🏻 She will sing anything Acapella at any time and often does. Her Tic-Toc is full of these impromptu performances wherever she might be whether in the car, walking around the neighborhood or in a parking Garage. Accompanied by most often a simple guitar or piano her performances are always incredible. Add a band or even a full orchestra as in her performance for Quincy Jones at his request singing his arrangement of 'Fly Me to the Moon'. The same arrangement he did for Frank Sinatra. This opened for his 85th birthday celebration at the 02 Arena in London. ♥👣👸🏻 She is well known worldwide in the industry. Her family and Angelina have been holding back turning down many of the biggest in the industry while she finishes school. Remember she's only 16. They finally signed with Republic Records about two year ago after getting a deal that gave her control of her artistic vision and has since released 2 originals, 'Million Miles' & '7th Heaven' plus a soundtrack for the New Movie "The Hating Game" which opens with her song 'Mercy' performed most notably by Duffy. Republic has labeled her their Highest Priority and assigned a team to her including Rob Christy a multiple Grammy Winner, often on the piano in many of her performances and a whole team of equally qualified professionals. She has worked with some of the best musicians in the industry and always get exactly what she wants. They call her the Boss and have immense respect for her. She is due to release her 1st album promised by Angelin to be soon. She has been diligently perfecting her craft since winning Norway's Got Talent singing all over the world, Germany, Japan, Korea as well as TV appearances such as The View, Little Big Shots and most notably America's Got Talent where she premiered her Iconic Performance of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' which Queen gave her the rights to record her own version available on ITunes and Spotify included on her Album 'Magic' which she released on her own along with a Christmas Song collection. She didn't win AGT because she would not sign with Simon. IMO. She has also sung for Many Heads of State including Barack Obama and for Quincy Jones 85th birthday at the 02 Arena in London and a couple songs opening for Norah Jones in Korea. She also sang at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert at 8 yrs old for Malala and another recipient. Mostly she has sung for charities helping raise millions for children charities and climate change. The great part is that most of it has been well documented often by herself and her family. Her Grandmother who introduced her to Jazz at 3 & 4 yrs old is behind the camera more than anyone else. Norway proclaimed her a National Treasure shortly after she won NGT. Love the reactions. Get ready for a deep dive. She is worth it! Love from the Land of Vikings and the home of the Kensington Runestone here in mid-Minnesota USA wherein lies a huge proud Norwegian population. ♥👣👸🏻

About her being too young to feel the emotions behind the song: Interestingly enough, she has been singing similarly "grown-up" songs *convincingly* since she was much younger than 10. It seems that she possesses extraordinary empathy, such that she has been absorbing the emotions of the music she has been listening to since, literally, the cradle. One could argue that she cannot possibly *understand the circumstances* giving rise to those emotions in the songs, but she is definitely feeling the emotions themselves. At least that is my conclusion after having repeatedly watched well over a hundred of her performances. New sub, greetings from Greece, hope to see you react to many more of her performances.

Every time she sings she touches me emotionally in some way. No other artist in my 68 years has ever done that. All that being said, just as you aren't a fan of child singers, I am not a fan of "reactors" that pause so often (7 times) to talk about trivial things, and then cut the video off at the end. Angelina is 17 now and has over 150 covers. I love almost everything she does, but her earliest stuff is the most mind blowing. Her audition for Norway Got Talent at age 7 is insane with her doing Billie Holliday. Her performance at age 9 of "I Put a Spell On You" is my favorite and everyone who hears it has to pick their jaw up off the floor. She had already started arranging her own performances by then and you can see her making changes to the notes and the adult musician smiling at the changes. They called her "The Boss" in that room. Her performance of "It's a Man's World" at age 10 is amazing. Her performances on Americas's Got Talent Champions Edition at age 13 are all wonderful. Enjoy as you start down the rabbit hole of Angelina Jordan.

Nina Simone is considered 'The Gold Standard' for this song. That said, this 10 year old performs what I believe is the reigning 'Platinum Standard' for this song. Her arrangement, dictated by her with the orchestra is sheer perfection and her vocals are rooted in the jazz genre that she was most affected by through listening and emulating Billie Holiday.

When you talk about arrangements (musically speaking) you are saying that Angelina wrote or dictated the lines of the violins, the brass, the tempo, the phrasing and the silences. That is not like that. And I think it's disrespectful to a number of musicians and arrangers who do the job. Madam, Angelina was born (gift of God/Allah/Universe) with a slightly longer neck, larynx and vocal chords, hence her deep voice. Respected Vocal coaches estimate her singing voice to be contralto and her reach between 2,5 and 4 octaves. She mostly uses the 2,5 part. The other gifts are her high intelligence, mathematic and language ability. Speaking Norwegian, Swedish, English, Farsi/Persian, Japanese, a bit of German and French and now learning Spanish, it seems. Her instruments are the piano and the guitar for sure, it is said there are more, but I never saw her play them. She is also a very good seamstress, CEO of her own company and humanitarian. Be safe, sound and happy. "Listen" to Andy Schnell he knows his Angelina Stuff.😃 Elmar from Germany.

Not surprised that you were surprised! One thing though is that you will find your statements about her conveying emotion to be incorrect. Angelina conveys the motion better than many adult singers as you will find as you go down the rabbit hole. Norwegian born Angelina Jordan began singing at the age of one and a half, and by age three was listening to jazz and classics legends on repeat. Her grandmother was her greatest influence, but Angelina chose her own path. Her first studio performance was at age 7, singing I Who Have Nothing. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of only 8, singing old time classics from Billie Holliday and George Gershwin, and became the youngest ever vocalist to win an international Got Talent Show! Her performance at 9 years old of Screamin Jay Hawkins, I Put a Spell on You is considered one of the finest recordings ever of a 9-year-old vocalist! Angelina also went viral on America's Got Talent the champions in 2020 with her unique versions of Bohemian Rhapsody and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Angelina sings in English which unbelievably is her third language! She is a true prodigy. She is now 17, and has recorded a huge library of songs, including covers and several originals. A major attraction to Angelina's music is the emotion and attitude she conveys, although she has not experienced the life events! She is known as the barefoot princess of 1,000 voices as she can adjust her tone, style, and register for any song or genre. She was signed by Republic Records almost two years ago. She is not widely promoted yet, however, as her family has decided to wait until she graduates school, so she has a normal childhood. Here is a link from ages 6 to 17 of 106 Angelina chronological KZfaq performances with five originals. m.kzfaq.info/sun/PL2v8kgVeo4EbYDVnRwObjETfWpXbzbgIO Here is a more comprehensive playlist of 180 videos including tiktok and Instagram. kzfaq.info/sun/PL2v8kgVeo4EbQD6l_WAVjOfItquzW7oEc Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even donated her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond. Angelina captures hearts because she is humble and has compassion for humanity. Her stated goal from childhood was to sing for the world and spread love and peace. I trust this will cause you to embrace her as millions of others have, and that you will continue down the rabbit hole from which you will not want to escape. Peace and love. kzfaq.info Please remember to include in your description the artist Official Channel as well as the original video, if you have not already done so. @@leechap3 Interesting… the reactor cut off the beginning and ending of the video. She already had a pre-conceived idea that a child would be unable to express emotion due to lack of life experience. She pretty much stuck with that. Instead, she should have expressed the idea that Angelina at age 10 expresses emotion in her singing better than singers 3 times her age! She stops the performance too many time. This song is one that builds in intensity as it goes along. Stoping it too often loses the flow, the build up, the anticipation… This is a piece where the whole piece is more than the sum of its parts, but the reactor destroyed all that by stopping it too often. Oh, I know they need to stop it once or maybe twice to keep within KZfaq’s rules, but doing it too often prevents them from experience Ins the entire composition. And then, they miss it. Frankly, I really don’t want to hear what reactors say. I like to watch their faces. That produces the “reaction”.

Any reactor should see that this particular video has been viewed over 5 million times, has over 66,000 likes, and that Angelina has nearly 800,000 subscribers. What do you think that tells you before you even begin to watch the video?

@@adairmartin I can't disagree with that, I am all for constructive criticism however I feel Angelina fans should make an effort to give new reactors the benefit of the doubt by not making it too harsh. Angelina would want it that way, That's all I am saying.

And I almost forgot she got the Golden Buzzer on AGT for Bohemian Rhapsody -- she never takes the easy ones. :-)

She turned 17 in January 2022. She is now professional and signed to Republic Records. You should go back to get to know her. She won Norway's Got Talent when she was 7. Has written quite a lot of her own recordings. She is also a genuine, kind and lovely human being.

Thank you for your reaction. I give new Angie reactors a welcome pack, please read. She chooses all her own songs & does all her own arrangements ever since she was very young, even when she did Screaming Jay Hawkins “I put a spell on you” the B&W version, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pN12n9J0tb7ec6c.html at barely 9, even at 7 & 8 on NGT (Norway’s Got Talent). On AGT-C Angie made her outfit from silkscreen patterns of her grandma's art work when she was 13 back in Norway. She makes several of her other outfits for shows & concerts too. She also paints great, plays 5 instruments & speaks & sings 4+ languages, English being her 3rd. Angie turned 16 on 1-10-22. Angie is a very kind, giving, loving, respectful, humble & a big hearted Christian girl. She always sings barefoot when performing & she wrote a book about it at 9 called “Between Two Worlds” & she was/is the youngest to be published in Norway. (Angie has always been the driving force behind her dreams) (Why does Angie performs barefoot. Please watch. Angelina gives a short little interview explaining why she performs barefoot. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y8lzf6eKlam3imw.html) Angie has arranged over 160 covers & written 5 songs & has had 2 written for her also & she’s mastered over 10 genre’s already. One of her nicknames is “The barefoot princess of a 1000 voices with a Mona Lisa smile” & the "Queen of jazz". Angie never sings a song the same way twice, so you could say they’ll all be 1st time reactions. Angie sings like an instrumentalist, combinded with narrative music, another reason she’s so especially rare & great. Her musicality & music intelligence have always been of the charts, (Prodigy)

No doubt about it. She ALWAYS feels the songs or she would not choose to sing them. Maybe not the adult version but she feels music. Always.

Great reaction Jennifer! Only one tiny matter - if you had finished the video, you would have seen Angelina at the end of the song, as she "drops out" of her persona for delivering the song to the very high standard she sets herself. In a flash, she reverts back to a shy little ten year-old girl, giggling at the whistles and attribution of the audience for something she must have just done. She switches from "little girl" to "professional artist" and back to "little girl" with most of her live performances from age seven to age twelve, and even in some live concerts today. Don't doubt it - Angelina not only loves singing - it is an essential and massive part of her soul, her raison-d'etre, and the channel by which she speaks to the world. Most of the lyrics you think she is too young to understand, she usually understands perfectly. She has an emotional intelligence way beyond her years.
