Digital minimalism is something I have been getting more into lately. It’s hard sometimes during covid, but not being on screens almost the whole time I’m not working has been very helpful for me.

Hello, I just wanted to say I love what you make. Your editing and videos are always so simple and nice and it makes me feel so calming and grounded. Watching you makes me feel like I can achieve minimalism too. A lot of channels make it seems like you have to go our and buy all of these new reusable things, as well as completlry cut out anything that's plastic completley. But you manage it in a way that seems so attainable and more manageable to achieve in some way?? Anyways. Thank you so much.

Great video Christine! I started a new job and am getting used to working from home and scheduling my time, so this was great! How long does it usually take you to edit a video? I'm still tryin to get in the groove, but I can only edit so long before I'm sick of seeing/hearing myself and usually take a break or start it again the next day 😅

I'm worried about that desk chair. How does your back not hurt?!!
@LisaCulton
@LisaCulton 3 жыл бұрын
Sometimes I sit on a backless stool like that but it has movement and keeps the muscles active, but I'm concerned about the small desk, where she has to put her laptop on books, but yet her arms and elbows are reaching up unsupported which is going to lead to muscle strain and back problems.

Do you get paid for the amount of hours you work? Do you ever actually work an 8 hour day?
@simplybychristine
@simplybychristine 3 жыл бұрын
When I worked my part time jobs yes, but as a freelancer I usually get paid per project. It can be pretty unpredictable and work often comes in waves. Because I'm starting a business with my husband we definitely pull long hours, but I don't keep track since I don't want to think too much about it (:

Why do you wear a mask in a field with no one in it?
@simplybychristine
@simplybychristine 3 жыл бұрын
To respect the people that still pass. I shoot when there are fewer people around me because I have my camera and tripod with me on these walks, so I don't get in their way, but when we're walking there are people on the walking paths and we are all required to wear a mask.
@LisaCulton
@LisaCulton 3 жыл бұрын
1) why are you wearing a mask out in the open in an empty park? 2) Your workspace set-up is not ergonomic and will give you some problems later if you don't make some changes.
