In January this year, Tzu Chi hosted its inaugural Year-End Blessing in Bodh Gaya, India. During the event, Tzu Chi visited various schools and invited numerous young students to participate in the "Practicing the Vows" performance. One of these students, Karan Kumar, underwent a remarkable transformation. Previously, Karan was reckless, impulsive, and isolated at school, showed little kindness to his mother, who raised her children alone. However, after participating in the performance and enjoying Tzu Chi’s Jing Si Aphorisms program, he gained valuable life lessons. Karan became more engaged in his studies, assisted his mother with household chores, and aims to create a better future for his family through the positive changes he has embraced.
