I was curious, as well. I was sure they were still in your collection. I don't think I could ever sell a Moser unless it was to upgrade into another Moser. 😂

Your Mosers are both wonderful. The brand is a breath of fresh air in comparison to the Holy Trinity, particularly the noninclusive Patek Phillipe whose distribution network seems devoted to turning away people. The Meylan family is rooted in Holy Trinity tradition (the head of the family Georges-Henri Meylan was a senior AP exec from 1987 to 2009) but Edouard and Bertrand know enough to avoid the snootiness of the old guard approach and are wonderfully accessible to one and all. In contrast and for example, trying to buy a new Patek Phillippe is becoming more and more like an episode in the televised dramatization by PBS AND BBC of the fiction of caste and class divisions by Edith Wharton and Henry James, both of whom would have been fascinated by your at home dining attire (James to Wharton: “I wonder what lumber jacket this Sanders rascal is going to be wearing at supper tonight?”).

Anything Henry James would say about me would be worth reading ... and certainly well-written. More interesting would be what Oscar Wilde would say about those with time in life and watch collection. Perhaps, "Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes." Take care, Bill
