I am a confirmed fan of Nutsac (the company), having purchased six of their pack and satchel offerings and have subjected all of them to sustained and frequently hard use (except for perhaps the leather Double Admin pouch...that's my baby!). Great bag, great name (very memorable) and I for one don't go around and tell people the name of my bag all day so it's not a problem. If they had chosen another name they wouldn't have been as successful, I have the branded acorn (with the name on the leather logo) and I've never had any comments or weird looks. I've used the tacsac 13 for quite a while and it still looks great. I will however say that the tan canvas is FAR superior in looks to the black canvas, I love the old school look of the waxed tan canvas.

the name doesn't really bother me. but it's not a haversack. it's more for a urban city type person office worker, or as a carry on for flying. not made for the outdoors in my opinion. don't care for the buckle or lack of a way to quickly access the contents. i like the hidden woodsman's haversack or self reliance outfitters haversack. both are made for the woods or the desert. colors are cool, and i like the adjustable strap. but that's about it.

‘Nutsack’ is the absolute best name ever. I just can’t get past the name ‘Haversack’ to be honest.

Very coarse and vulgar name for a company, a deal breaker for me. I probably will go with a Hidden Woodsmen or Tuff Possum. Strange that a person/persons would be smart enough to start up a company, but be so ignorant to choose such a stupid name. Oh, well, times change, i guess i am just too old fashioned.
