Thanks for documenting your move in, it helps with what my dorm will look like since Davis was weirdly secretive with what the dorms looked like.

Hi I’m moving in the green in a couple weeks. Is there anyway you can measure the closet space or give a video about the actual size of the closet? And how big the drawers are they provide?

Hey quick question, are there ethernet connection in the rooms? I hear the wifi can be spotty, stable internet is important to me

Hello! I have not tried using ethernet myself, but there are some people who use it, so it should be doable. Hope that helps!

Is there a laundry room on every floor? Or does it just happen to be on the second floor in your building?

Yes there is! And each room has about 6 working washing machines and 6 dryers (I can double check and post about those specifically at some point too)

hey im moving into the green in a couple days, would you say theres enough space for a beanbag in the one bedroom, one bath apartments?

Honestly I couldn’t tell you, I haven’t come across anyone who had one yet 😅 Recently, however, I did find a layout map posted on the UC Davis website; maybe it’ll help if you look at the scale of furniture vs the room! housing.ucdavis.edu/apartments/the-green/apartment-models/

I looked at the map for my layout and I’d say mine has enough space; I’d size a beanbag chair to about the size of the desk…looking at the desk in your layout, however, it looks like there’s probably no space 😧
