If you don't have IBC totes, you can easily screw pallets together to make a receiver for the firewood to fall into. Picking up the wood off of the ground usually ends up with a lot of dirt. just offering my opinion...

I had some pallets on the ground where the pile is. I've just found it's easier to separate out the scraps, small splits, & big splits when in a pile. I stack larger splits in one area for my use, smaller splits in another area for bundles and selling, and then all the slash I use in our outdoor fire pit. Easier to do all that in a pile and not when it is in a tote.

hi there good splitting but it hurts me to see the fire wood going back on the ground , but some times there is no other way , best to all .john

With the conveyor and me having/wanting to sort out splits for myself or bundles and pick out the slash and trash....just is easier doing it from a pile instead of a tote or trailer.

Just want to say thank you for saving my Sunday morning! I found people selling firewood , there are people delivering where I would, but nobody's splitting firewood but you so thank you for saving my morning have a great day! Lol

Dan, Since your Eastonmade has its own "Taj Mahal" to live in...I believe you are safe at this point removing the rattle-trap exhaust flap! 🤠

lol...the clanking & rattling is sort of growing on my, I might miss hearing that. I've actually been meaning to replace it with a 90 degree pipe just keep forgetting to pick one up.

I believe that the eastonmade is one the best spliters on the market. I dislike the box wedge design it just rips the wood. Look at all the spliters. The firewood just doesn't look good.

It's not that bad, but also depends on the wood. I will say I'd much rather pick up some scraps than wrestle the wood back for re-splitting...lol...the pull back arm on the box wedge is fabulous!
