My house was in 'shambles' and a 'complete disaster' not really, but I kind of felt that way haha it was just every day random lived-in mess so it was in dire need of a mother's touch cleaning. So Kim's cleaning service came to my rescue. You know here at Kim's cleaning service we pride ourselves with leaving a house looking and smelling amazing... okay that's enough. I cleaned my house and maybe it will motivate you to get some stuff cleaned around your house, if not I hope you enjoyed the chit-chat during the video! haha

I think her house cleaning service for her house would be more than $150. Kim is so fun to watch and I love listening to her chat vs music! It’d sure be fun if she had some type of seminar/activity that we could meet her and the other fun subscribers!

I heard a tip once that might help for Meredith's bed! Put pool noodles under the fitted sheet on both sides to help put a little buffer on the edges of the bed. Jumbo ones would be even better. :)

Pool noodles, yes! I've heard of this.. probably from pinterest years ago BUUUTTT I'm worried she'll roll right over them and then the fall would be worse... hahah... I should probably get proper bed rails, I'll do something

I did this but wrapped them in blankets. I was also worried they'd roll right over. This made them quite a bit thicker and worked perfectly! A leg or arm may hang over, but they'd never roll completely over!!

@@thewadsquad The kid rolls up against them, subconsciously thinks it's a wall or something, and rolls away because the body thinks it can't go further. At least that's my theory. Has worked for two kids so far!

I thought about the pool noodles right away, too! One of my kids went to a twin bed very easily and the other is struggling with the crib conversion/day bed thing. It doesn't have the outside bars so we rolled blankets and tucked them under the sheets. Same idea!

I really do LOVE and appreciate the fact that you talk the whole time! I am a person that needs talking while I clean, music is a trigger for me. I live an almost completely isolated life (obviously besides my immediate family) and also live out of town on property and I love listening to you talk and I find myself laughing along with you. It is sooo hard to find someone that will just talk for an entire video while they clean and you literally are, such a breath of fresh air!! I really hope you see this and truly understand how thankful I am for these videos where you just talk! Thank you! ❤

Yes, agree, time for Mom and Dad to set boundaries to keep guests out of the Master Suite. Put a lock on the hallway door if necessary. You are not going to psychologically damage your children or your guests' children by limiting which bathrooms they can use. In fact setting and enforcing limits grows their respect for mom's and dad's personal space, privacy and items. It will also help them understand that they deserve the same respect and healthy boundaries with their friends, teachers, and future employers and romantic partners. Self respect and healthy boundaries are learned, often from parents.

Funny story, my son and his wife moved into a new place. Every time I used the bathroom the toilet paper was under. I would change it to over thinking they would say something. I did this multiple times but nothing...lol So one day I told my son....they had not even noticed. How could they not notice🙄

I have been looking at the Crosswave for awhile. After watching you and hearing you rave about yours I finally bought the Cross Wave Pet Pro. 2 large dogs and 2 small puppies live here. We have used it only once but we were impressed. Thanks for your input Kim! Hope it continues to impress us. I am disabled so whatever lightens the load for me is wonderful. Have a basket for the kids to use full of bathroom needs. This way they come in your shower they use their stuff. They don’t touch your stuff. It’ll help. You can get bed rails for the twin bed. My kids used them. They can’t fall off. I love these videos. Ty for the motivation and chat.

@@brilliantbutblue no not yet friend. We're making do with a window unit and a few fans right now. The whole thing needs replacing and that's over $5,000. We live on an extremely tight budget since my hubbys rollover accident. He had in 2009.

Just sat down after a lot of Saturday cleaning. I admire your honesty too many you tubers have houses that show nothing of real life. And seem to clean and organize things that dont need to be done. The flossing thing is so funny oh thank you for making me laugh. Only clean what can be seen oh girl i hear ya! Its called in this house a lick and a promise but it works for me ha ha. And a nice smell helps with the illusion! Its amazing how having the space around you clean lifts the spirits. Well done. We got a new home about same time as you guys did. House is twice the size of previous home. I have to hire a lady to help me deep clean about every 3 weeks. She cleans one level i clean the other. Thank god for her

Back when I was a kid(lol), 60 years ago, my granddad just attached a holder above the outside hose for us to shower off the summertime play grime. We loved it. Of course, cold water felt good on our sweaty bodies.

I was dying laughing with Kim’s cleaning service💀😂 now I’m printing off a label for my house! i would totally invest in an outside shower, I feel like the kids wouldn’t mind waiting for their turn to rinse off if the shower was outside haha.. because kids! For the bed situation I bought a long bed rail for my daughters twin bed! They sell it in white and gray on Amazon and I love it on a twin bed the “long” version covers nearly more than half of the bed On the plus side it gives my daughter something to hold onto as she slides off the bed to get down

I 100% feel like kids know when something is new and that's when they go to town. My daughter watched me make her slime and what do you know I got in the shower and she spilled almost a whole gallon of glue all over the kitchen floor. The amount of times I had to wash my floor that day 😭 I almost cried. I do have a favorite burner lol

Good Morning Kim, I’m watching this at 6am after a very long night with a Texas storm going through the night! 🥱 I haven’t finished the video yet, but my heart had a sad little tug when you mentioned people (sound like mainly kiddos) using your master shower & helping themselves to your special items. From what I’ve learned about you, I’m going to guess that it bums you out but that you’ll shrug it off. I was thinking that since it does get used pretty often and that it’s going into summer and most likely will be used more, that perhaps think about a shower caddy or plastic basket that you could keep your special items in. Then you could put that under your sink or linen closet and leave shampoo/conditioner that is less costly for your guests to use. Perhaps make a little space for towels that you don’t mind being used and abused in your linen closet as well. Just get some less expensive towels (maybe white, so they can be bleached) and have then ready for the little guests. Maybe in a basket from Goodwill if you don’t have room on a shelf in your linen closet. I’d probably pick up a couple combs/brushes to use as well that you can clean easily. Just some ideas. You’re very special as the mommy and you just moved into your gorgeous home w/ a dreamy bathroom. A guest basket might be a good alternative…. Don’t forget a caddy or something for your special shower items! 🥰 Also, we just bought a new house on half an acre and our last house had a pool. We’re not feeling any desire to spend the boo-koo bucks on a new pool and do all the upkeep on it. You have an absolute gorgeous backyard and a lake. Don’t feel pressure for a pool. Just focus on your add-on for your sweet kiddos! P.S. I’m going to go buy my very own Bissell Crosswave today! Yeah me!!! You’ve totally sold me on it. And just FYI, I prefer your talk-overs to music. Feels much more like a visit and just fun. You bust me up laughing! Your baby bump is looking so precious! Let me know if you want to come thrifting with me in Texas! LOL

First of all congratulations on your home!! Sounds like you guys found something special!! I will definitely have to do something if I keep letting kids come in here but for now I said… it’s off limits lol it will likely change and really it’s not a huge deal but I can always keep my things separate or just tell them not to use it. They’ll be respectful I just didn’t voice my expectations ♥️🎉 so glad you are here to hang out ♥️♥️

@@thewadsquad you can easily make an outdoor shower with pea gravel and a hose they really don’t need to take full showers you can just have a bottle of cheap soap they can rinse off with their swim suits on and just take a good bath after they are all done playing.

Also not a fan of things IN my ears. When my daughter was young, I’d wear her Dad’s old giant headphones that covered your entire ear with a super long coily cord (just before everything started going wireless) to vacuum and listen to music. She’d roll her eyes and look embarrassed for me because those humongous headphones were SO uncool. Yeah, now she laughs and says I was just early on the comeback! 😂😂😂

Mommies are allowed to say NO. I always kept my bathroom and bedroom off limits to my kids Unless I was there. And they learnt that my things were out of bounds. And they survived. They also had to clean up after themselves before they got meals. And yes they are madly loved 🥰 by me and now teach the same rules to their kids.

I Love a clean house however I have a home and not a house 😂 and it’s lived in and my 4 kids let it be known they live here 😂 I do a good deep clean every weekend but throughout the week it’s surface cleaning just to keep it livable and not looking like I never clean 😂 However I will admit I know in my heart one day I will have the perfectly clean home and everything exactly where I want it to be but it is a little sad because that means my babies are no longer babies :/ I say enjoy it while we have them little ❤️❤️

Not even kidding! I got home from work late this afternoon and started watching your video as I relaxed for a bit… Totally inspired me because I had planned to clean my entire place today. Tonight! Several things.. I totally get you on sharing your special things just for you (nice conditioner). It's so nice to have a tidy house. What about some finding sides to put on Meredith's bed. Kim, thank you for sharing. Love the voice over. 😊 I love 80's music as well. Our internet and cable were out for a week due to a busted wire in the back alley because of high winds. But we just put on some 80's music from our phone everyday after work and just enjoyed and reminisced. Thanks again for sharing. Great job from Kim's Cleaning Service. I would definitely hire. 😄 💖

Kim, I totally flipped out the other day watching you and you started singing, Cool Rider, from Grease 2! And I flipped out, I looked over at my hubby who was lying down and he said,” I heard it.” I love that song. Yes, I do start singing songs that you start singing! I have four grown adults, but when they were little we did a full day at beach, played games, did the rides, walked the boardwalk. That was the only vacation we could afford. A one day trip. We always had a blast!

We are going to Myrtle Beach with the kiddos. My husband and I went to Sanibel in March and it was my favorite thing ever. It had been 8 years since we had seen the ocean. It’s way too long. It’s my happy place.

I have a son with autism who verbally stims...so he hums or makes noise almost constantly...so silence is bliss for me. However, when I'm cleaning - I absolutely do not enjoy cleaning - I need something on in the background. Friends is usually my go to but sometimes I'll rock some 70's funk or rock...but then I start dancing and it takes longer to finish. I've adopted this clean one room in my house a day, I have a total of 6 rooms, plus the stairs and landing, so 7 areas, for 7 days of the week, but I usually tackle the stairs and landing along with one of the other rooms so I can have a day off. I like this better because while I have to clean every day, I'm not cleaning for hours at at time trying to tackle the whole house. I have a small house...but I hate cleaning, so yeah. lol We also planned to go to Disneyland (we live in Northern California) but decided against it also...the same trip we took in 2019 would cost us an extra $1,900 to accomplish now. Not gonna happen this year.

Hi :) For Meredith’s bed, you can buy a bed rail that acts as a wall and prevents your child from rolling off the bed. I feel it would work great in your space! They can even unlock and place them down.

Hey Kim. You can get these special like little rail things that go up and above the side of the mattress of a bed to make a cot type bed. It has the metal support that stays unfortunately the mattress and then the rail part stays upright. They're very strong and I had them on my bed for when my son was little. in Australia they were only about $30 ish. They're temporary and super east and fast to install! Bed guards or baby bed rails is what they go by ❤

Re. cleaning caddy, I use an Ikea Raskog cart, it is a really great system! Dirty cloths and a small trashcan at the bottom, clean cloths and other 'extras' on the middle shelf (like, swiffer sheets, trash bags, etc) and then the cleaning products, cloth in use, a dish towel and paper towels on the top. We stuck a thing on the side of it to hold the mop, so it is an all in one, roll-along, cleaning cart - it doesn't make the cleaning any more fun, but it sure is handy 😁

I highly recommend a Bluetooth headband! Perfect for bopping around the house-holds hair out of my face and I can still (faintly) hear my littles so I’m not totally disconnected while in the zone
