Great project❤️ but I think this task could become more easy to implement with a bridge and a triac with a suitable triac driver. This also gave us a variety of speed ranges with every single value of slider!

@@techiesms For step 3 We can add a automation in home assistant so when we turn the knob to position 3 the input on esp32 is high and the automation will run and turn the other relay on, and when we changed to position to 2 or 4 the pin is low so it will turn off the relay by this we can use the manual regulator for all speeds, because im currently using my four switches by 8 automations 4 for turn on and another 4 for turn off the relays, By the way, I'm not a coding expert, just an idea Bro😅

Try replacing 4 relays in capacitor based fan dimmer with 1 relay and Mosfets( not zero crossing detector? Also try sleek relays to decrease size of PCB. Also try two layer PCB

Please take a look into the Template Sensor Component, you have to write a lambda function in it for proper fan speed control. It will be something like: if binary_sensor1.state == 0 && binary_sensor2.state == 1, then: do something ... Please check the documentation of the Template Sensor Component with its lambda examples. Connect speed 1 and speed 2 (From Manual switch gpio ) gpio through a resistor. Connect One transistor collector to the speed 1 gpio pin after resistor (esp32 side). Same way connect another transistor to speed 2 gpio. Both transistor emitter should be grounded. Both Transistor base pin connect to manual switch 3rd speed pin through base resistor. ( use 2 separate base resistor for each transistor.). Connect manual Switch 3rd position pin to GPIO13 in your case. When 3rd speed pin is high , transistor pull down the speed 1 and speed 2 gpio. you can also use 1 transistor but then u have to use 2 diode .. collector one diode to speed 1 GPIO , another diode to speed 2 gpio. Use 1 K resistor between esp and manual switch speed 1 , speed2.
