Join me this week on another a nature photography photo walk, to see what good old mother nature provides for my camera. If like me, you enjoy the type of photography that doesn't require a plan of action and fits in with normal life, then look no further. My nature photography sessions are rarely planned in advance and require no specific weather, as I would rather just go out, observe my surroundings and react to whatever graces my path.

I’m always amazed at how you are able to find lovely compositions to capture no matter the conditions, Simon.

That water movement photograph is quite an inspiring process. I wonder if it would work on bright windy days for grasses, leaves, and other textures similar to moving water. I think I'll try it out as soon as I can get out! [member comment]

Jaw dropping . . . . I love how different the images are to each other. They are both just stunning in different ways for different reasons. I love them Simon. I do so very much enjoy your work. And these videos too.

To me the second image looks more like a drawing of Edward Munch. Great picture!

I love the water shot. It takes my imagination. I see a sleeping dragon. The textures almost like its rough dark skin glooming by harsh fiery light.

Thanks, Simon. Great images and inspiration. Amazed, how you find these images, in a busy woodland. Trees are my favorite. KB

Love the water image Simon. The texture is amazing and not what you would usually expect with a longer exposure. Look up a chap called Mark Cornick, I think you will find his work interesting. He does a lot of ICM photography on the Cornish coastline but has also created some lovely abstract images during visits to Kew Gardens. Keep up the good work.

I really like the abstract water photo. I'm also glad to hear that even someone as skilled as your good self can still get drawn into taking multiple versions of the same / similar scene which is something I found myself doing on a recent trip to the seaside 😂
