Wow ..I wanna make a forest too ..that's my dream ..I just love nature . But the sad part is this nature is in danger .how would our next generations live ..it's very heart wrenching

Every small act counts. Even planting small trees in your backyard. It adds up over time. I think every family with a big enough backyard should plant at least fifteen trees in their property.

Should have planted trees that produce fruit then you could eat from it. But you know grow a tree that kills any thing around it and keeps the bugs away

Not native trees it would not capture carbon.

What is this about trees releasing it?

Plants need CO2 to grow, we need oxygen...we take in oxygen and breathe out CO2... problem solved.

@@bluepuppy1139 it's more about the ecosystems that surround a forest releasing it. The Amazon's the same way, even if now it produces 20% of the world's oxygen, if enough of it is destroyed, the animals that live around it will produce more co2 than the trees produce oxygen. I'm not 100% sure whether this is actually true however.

@@miameow4833 There is more to this equation. It isn't as simple as 1+1=2. And there's a balance. I think more than one tree a person is needed.

I see where you're coming from but those changes happen over hundreds of thousands of years. This is happening rapidly over only a few decades because of us.
