Its renewable for us all but how one rekindles there fortitude is highly individualized. I find meditation, repative manual labor, and spending time with my self in nature (offline no media) allow me to rekindle my spirt and persevere through all the sh*t that comes after an SCI. I also think its fine to just not be strong sometimes and recognize that there are seasons in our life that we are going to feel great or feel like over coming another tragedy with grace. Life is a pie eating contest where the prize is more pie. “Imagination is a quality that was given to man compensate him from whats not. The sense of humor was given to console him from what is.” ― Oscar Wilde

Here's a couple of thoughts - we all change and sometimes slow down as life progresses. If it's a natural slowing down or a change of lifestyle, it might not be as much of a loss of inner strength or will as much as a lifestyle change. Second, no one is an island unto themselves - regardless of how capable we are as individuals, our inner strength is drawn from those around us, those who support and encourage us throughout our lives. Sometimes if we are too much in our own heads, it can feel like we've lost some "will" or "strength" to continue on. Break out of the normal routine and maybe...oh say...take a trip to China and visit some friends ;)

Ok here is my $.02, people say all the time. “ refocus and redirect”. Hmm. Maybe but I am not sure. Some days it’s just hard to start again. That’s when we lean on our friends to help get back on track. Other days is a cost until a sign, vision shows its self. Is the $.05 worth?
