Nothing will be as in-depth as tarkov. The casual "clones" lack what makes tarkov special and addicting.

@@ProStreeter100 The EFT devs really should just work with the people who made the SPT-AKI single player mod and implement it into the game, so both pvpers and pvers can enjoy their version of the game.

The one thing that seriously worries me is the F2P model. "The Cycle: Frontier" died because of this. Cheaters were impossible to deal with in any reasonable manner, and they had quite a sizeable dev team.

Im excited for this. Im SUPER bummed they made it just look like fortnite. But we need more casual extract shooters to help the genre grow. If these devs can lower the bar (unlike Marauders) and listen to the players (unlike the cycle) and it actually does launch on consoles (unlike anything other than DMZ) then it has a good shot at surviving. Launch a full package and let everyone play. Thats where ALL of these games have been failing. If copying fortnite helps the dev process go smoother then i welcome it

Right now im playing Cycle Frontier before the shutdown. Wish I played it earlier as it's one of the few or ONLY Extraction Shooter I care to play. Always felt these games were cash grabs and a way to not make a full fleshed out world. Essentially Titan Fall and Apex Legends. However I just want something different than my usual shooters and It's actually a nice world to run around. I will be looking forward to this Hawked game. It sorta looks like Dirty Bomb but upgraded. We shall see.

@@RandallMiller-eh6wm Yes, the game is not making money because a lot of people have left for various reason. Chiefly the cheaters. September 9th? I think is the last day of the servers.

They should have monetized it better out the gate, they literally gave the game away for free, other than loving the game and wanting the devs to be rewarded for their work for most people there is no motivation to spend $ on it. I hope they come up with a plan to keep it on maintenance or find someone who can figure out how to get the game to make money. Sad to see such a great game close down. +1 gonna play it next month till it closes down, brought one of their packages so I feel I should give it one more go.
