I really dislike modern translators on most of these streaming shows, they all take giant liberties injecting their own takes, or they dumb down a lot of shit. I'm not a huge Mjinji fan, but subtly trying to influence the audience due to your own biases is a no from me. Korean film translators or even fansubbers of various K-content generally better, they'll just translate the words as they are, and trust the audience is smart enough to get it.
