More often than not, the dream doesn’t live up to the reality but I’m sure some of these expats succeed in their business ventures.Follow ups a few years down the line would be beneficial and interesting.

Why would you want single women? I know lots of single women who are making great lives for themselves and others, they just don't get filmed. They want dorks, to show brave little people, and if they Do accidentally find people who know what they are doing, they film them as though they are dorks. On second thoughts my single women may not be suitable! One was growing cannabis in Portugal the last time I saw her! Haha!

A 'Native American ' site with built in bathrooms and a gas powered barbecue! Give me Strength! they are in Andalucia FFS! Never bothered to learn how the Spanish traditionally cooked, let alone Native Americans? NONE of these people actually connect with the locals? so they are doomed from the start! The Exprat market is not big enough and is exclusive and cliquey so you will be gone. 59euros for a paella? Are they mad? And if he knows how to cook a paella you know the pan Should be used! He is a chef? Or did he run a burger van? WTF was that? Chicken and boiled in oil rice? What an insult! 'What is the French for courgette?' Hehehehe! Bloody hell! You leave your guests 2 courgettes as a welcome gift? Hysterical. Why not cook them a nice vegan tart from your veg, leave them some organic wine and some fruit? Or a little basket of your veggies? Whatever passes for dairy in vegan? Not hard to do. and it is the little stuff that matters. These people have been travelling for hours, it might be late when they arrive, they might not have eaten? if they are coming in at certain times I would leave them a meal to reheat, some wine, or coffee or chocolate? Bread! I spent years traversing around Spain and staying in off the radar places. There is nothing nicer than to find you have all the simple basics for breakfast and some cava to welcome you. It always happened in the most non tourist places. Then to awaken next morning to bags of veggies hung on your door handle. Because the Spanish have corazon and they understand basic needs. It is NOT 'living the Languedoc Life'. How dare she! She has Never lived there! Wrong country for a start! She has no roots there, no idea of the traditions, the culture. Yet another Bloody Exprat!

@@TheHutchMusic I can see why you are a Pillock! Maybe you should try getting a little life experience before making inane comments? Here is a tip. If that was supposed to be a joke, Don't go into Stand Up "LOL" By the way, boeuf is French, so why I would be walking around with a piece of French beef and English fries on my shoulders in Spain isn't quite clear. I suggest you get an atlas along with that experience. "LOL" The word you are looking for is schadenfruede . Having lived in Spain for 16 years I have seen these numpties so many times., They crash and burn, but Hey, they know what they are doing! Some make it, most don't. So I am sorry if my experience of life as it is lived upsets your 'Happy' Did you miss the fact that they are not? Worrying about cash and surviving all the time?' Funnily enough, Me and my chips and French beef are still here, and these types are long gone! Broke most of them. How did that happen? Maybe it is called Reality? There are no unicorns or sunlit uplands, just Life.. No one goes into business without enough money to carry them through the first year or 2 at least. And my suggestions were simple PR. If you are in hospitality, catering, retail, whatever, you do what it takes to make sure people remember you and want to come back? It is not rocket science. Nor is it fries and French beef! "LOL"
