Thanks for the review. I stayed at this resort right before the pandemic. There are more cons than pros after the renovation. The new beach wing swimming pool is nicely done and lovely vibe. However, the buffet breakfast selection is very limited compare in the past, specially the bread, pastry, daily product and juices sections.

Hello, thank you for the comment 😄 And thank you for sharing your opinion about the renovation. I didn’t know about the breakfast now being reduced in quantity. But that being said, I heard a lot of people mentioned the buffet in Novotel Benoa is among the best out of all hotels in Benoa peninsula. But I guess that doesn’t say much now 😄

Very 👍🏾 well done. It’s true, it has lost some of its charm, due to some of areas where they renovated and should’ve left the trees, giving it more authenticity. Overall, beautiful resort, however if you like water sports, then this would be a good choice. I was looking at this place, but considering I like things within walking distance, this wouldn’t be suitable.

Hi GA, thank you! Yes, a lot of people felt the same. I got what they’re trying to do, to modernize etc., but in the end they did to much of modernizing sadly. Benoa area is actually a “within walking distance area”, but there is not much good places to walk to 😄

Thanks for this insightful video, which helped me to determine not to stay at this resort during my upcoming Bali stay. In my opinion a hotel renovation gone wrong, which is quite rare. I feel the property has lost a lot of its unique tropical charm and design aesthetics.

The pool in particular, it’s even better now. But I understand your sentiment completely. I hope you found your preferred hotel soon, I wish you a nice holiday!

Hi Juwita 😊 Just from the sheer size and authentic Balinese experience, I'd recommend Ayodya. But be advised it's old property, but it's still well mantained & clean though, so I hope it won't be an issue

Hi, just wondering do you know the best time to play at the beach at Novotel Benoa during the low tide? Morning or afternoon? So the children can play at the beach sand. Thanks

Hello hello 👋😅 To answer you question, the low tide is during the morning, before 9 am, as shown in the video. But that will constantly change though. For a clear info, you can type in google “low tide benoa times” 😊
