Peter Vaughan collected this brand-new 2024-season Giottiline Siena 397 from Brownhills to find out more about this new name in affordable low-profile motorhomes. It has a popular side sofa and island bed layout as well as an electric drop-down bed up front. As seen here, it also has lots of extra equipment to suit the UK market and is priced very competitively.

Read the review in MMM and seriously considering buying one. Almost identical to our friend's Deffleths Just 90 but £10K cheap and with 170 bhp engine, auto gearbox, combi heating, and a cycle rack included. They have got a Sat dish, smarter decor, and better finish. Still looks a great value MH.

Great review as always Peter, best bit is probably the shower but you can certainly see where they have tried to save money on the rest of the build. Cheers K.

Great review as ever Peter. Clearly built to a price but nothing wrong with that and some good features at a sensible price point in a market which has gone a bit bonkers recently. Not a great payload and as someone fast approaching 70 I would love to see you do a review of 2 berth vehicles under 3.5 tonnes with a realistic payload. Keep the reviews coming no one does them better.

If you want to stay under 3.5t, I'd suggest you look at more compact models - under 7m long and narrow, too, preferably. Review of the Bailey Alora coming very soon!

Maybe not the ideal, polished motorhome in all respects, but at £15k less than the cost of my T6.1 camper, it gives you an awful lot of bang for your buck.

I have one of these motorhomes and honestly say they are very good mine is on the fiat boxer been a way in all seasons and not had any problems the only bugbare I have is they only have 2 240 sockets and no fitted mud flaps before I had this I had Bailey autograph nothing but problems and that was a lot more expensive than this

Just didn't seem to get there as a 4 birth. The whole seating, particularly offside. No Isofix a major issue. Neat 2nd bed. Few 13A outlet s. Just seems all over the place to get the price right

What height are you as a matter of interest? There were a few things that would annoy the hell out of me - that noisy bed would be unacceptable, the high settees and the loose carpeting off the top of my head.

About 1.77m Yes, that bed needs sorting. Couldn't live with that
