Ashleigh Gentle was unsure of her future after a disappointing performance at the Tokyo Olympics brought an end to her career as a short course triathlete.
With confidence at an all-time low, Ashleigh embarked on a switch to middle distance racing and picked up wins in Miami and Andorra before targeting the inaugural PTO Tour.
What happened next can only be described as remarkable as she took it to the best triathletes in the world with some of the most devastating running the sport has seen.
