In 1972, Patagonia started on a mission to build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm and use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis. To that end, we’ve been diverting resources from landfills since 1993 when we made our first fleece garment from recycled soda bottles.
Since then, we’ve learned how to use more and more recycled materials in our clothing without sacrificing performance or quality, and now we’re doing that with Recycled Down. It’s a mix of 600-fill-power goose and duck down reclaimed from used items that can’t be resold, and offers identical performance benefits to virgin down.
