As always, very impressive. Thanks for sharing. I've broken my back twice, and it would not allow me to bend over long enough to mark, then cut those circles out. I could however, cut Xs in the plastic to insert the plants. Maybe then cut the flaps off or maybe just tuck them under to make it look nicer. Great ideas, thanks for the inspiration!

It is my understanding that you should not allow okra pods to grow longer than 4 inches because the pods become corky like a d really hard to cut or even cook I guess.

not every variety has to be small when picked. there are dozens of okra. there's one called perkins long that can be a bit on the larger side when picked.

The clemson spineless okra is the kind that we use here in South u s a. It would be too big and hard to let it grow that long.What kind of okra is that?
@kqdwills
@kqdwills Жыл бұрын
The okra variety in this clip looked like clemson spinless. Some people said they grew CS okra and this okra variety stayed tender even when they reached that size. There are also 3 other green okra varieties that have been known for staying tender when the pods getting long are Perkins long horn, Burmese and Emerald okra. Red variety with similar trait is red burgundy okra. The guy who own this channel doesn't speak much English, judging from the way he made his clips, despite having some gardening skills. When you see YTers who make YT clips with English titles and barely any English subtitles, then they wouldn't likely answering people's comments or questions in their YT clips.

thank you for watching . The garden I'm around has an insect net, so it can be fixed. If you don't have it, you can use chili + crushed garlic to get water and spray it on plants to prevent it effectively and safely. God bless you 👍🙏🤝❤💕💖💗
