Meet HapSense, a cutting-edge #wearable developed by NTU Singapore in collaboration with A*STAR and P&G, designed to speed up the development of #cosmetics and #skincare products.
This innovative device, which is lightweight and portable, uses a unique soft #sensor that can measure the smoothness and softness of any surface, such as skin, hair, and textiles, accurately and in real time. Compared to traditional skincare testing panels, where reviewers give qualitative feedback that can be subjective and can take up to weeks for data to be compiled, HapSense gives quantifiable data and can track the changes in skin over time instantly right after #skincareproducts are applied. It is also cheaper by 10 times compared to the use of testing panels.
