In 1983, a large number of Ghanaians left by sea to Ghana. We are on the same Gulf of Guinea and the same Atlantic Ocean. Some ethnic groups in Ghana originally came to the country by sea from Nigeria.

I blame this KZfaqrs who kept making videos of Nigeria / Ghana this and that nobody talks of the number of Ghanian in Nigeria cos Nigeria to too big to notice the influx of Ghanians but Ghana on the other hand is small so it's very easy to notice foreigners in that country , and mind u Nigerians going there don't mean they are going there to be rich cos Ghana is a struggling country like Nigeria , rather Nigerians go there cos Ghana is the closest English speaking country to Nigeria as compared to the other neighboring countries .

An Ocean cannot discharge its waters into a River. The case of mass Nigerians influx to Ghana is just that. It is essentially an existential threat to Ghana and Ghanaians. Nigerians must fix their mess. It is not sustainable and that is the reality. ECOWAS IS NOT ABOUT MASS UNCONTROLLED MIGRATION. ECOWAS in that regard, is about business related TRAVELs. Ghana is equally a poor country with little to no economic and employment opportunities for her own Ghanaian citizens.

In Ogun state in Nigeria i can tell u influx of Ghanaians are in their thousands so also in Ogbomoso i know so many who reside there and made it home for themselves. If not for modern regional politics and geographical mapping by colonial master that brought about the mess. For one reason or the other, some individuals from either Nigeria or Ghana want to travels to either side bcos they find it naturally easy to blend in Ghana or Nigeria lifestyle. Grow up and stop getting yourself disturb bcos these inter-border migration exist even before you were born. As some Nigeria ancestors are in Ghana, so as some Ghanians ancestor are in NIgeria.

Ghana is not benefiting from the influx of Nigerian Migrants, It is rather a problem, they are depleting the limited resources for Ghanaians, It is a sensitive topic that most people shy away from but someone needs to speak the truth, it's not funny anymore. growing up 20 years ago the only place you can find prostitutes in Accra was circle and a few around cantonment, but now it's like prostitutes have invaded Accra from certain Country, Its not fair, all our sacrifices and hard work to keep our country sane is being destroyed right before our eyes, And they do not want us to talk about it. I guess you guys are igbos. It looks like you don't like the ruling government that's why you are praising Ghana. Nigeria is richer than Ghana so why are you guys leaving Naija? Ghana is still struggling. At the moment begging IMF for loan so why do you guys think Ghana is better? Look at the Mansions in Naija and the millions of rich people in Naija. Other Africans should be moving to Nigeria and not the other way around. Millions of barrels of oil since the 70's so how can you say Ghana is better?
