While standing in the courthouse I saw in my minds eye a small doorway right below ceiling level and a petite woman sweeping dirt' I mentioned this to a guide' who informed that dust storms frequently would bury the structure and that it would make sense that Anna would be sweeping the dust.

it smells musty as fudge and air is thick in there. I took pictures with my iphone and found an orb and what looked like smoke clouds on some images. Its worth visiting

My wife and I visited this place just once. We were sitting in the courtroom when we heard music like that played by a Harpsichord. Weird! Then later as we were about to leave we were talking to one of the docents by the front door when we all saw the cloth covered chain that keeps people out of the living room swing back and forth as if someone slapped it. I asked the docent, "What was that?" She replied, "Just spirit activity!" There was no one near it. Is that placed haunted? You be the judge.

Interesting to see that the 2013 film, The Haunting at Whaley House, based the set closely on the real house - the film-room, shop, etc. The dramatisation showed a lot more activity on the EVP, though!

i went there once and some guy was talking about how one of the daughters (the one that killed herself) husband cheated on her and he started talking to her about that and the books on her vanity got pushed over and made a hugeee noise the worker ran over and asked what happened and asked the man to leave

unless you seen a ghost you would never think they existed i used to live in a hunted apartment and it was my first time seeing a ghost ..
