Five teenage friends living on one street all dream of a sinister man with a disfigured face, a frightening voice and a gardener's glove with knives for fingers. I feel this movie is underrated. Very dark, very creepy, and a good horror movie overall. I'm glad it's out on DVD now :D

@Razor9350 underated? spoiler At the end when freddys plan is revealed (because nancy hadnt slept, she fell into a deep sleep supposidly giving freddy more power to do what he whats to her in the dream, at first he begins to touch her between the legs giving the insentive that hes either gonna tortue or molest her, but what do they have him do??? they hav him skip through all that shit and go straight for a death blow? so what the hell was freddys whole plan for? -_-
