Heureusement, j'ai acheté des billets pour voyager en Argentine en décembre et enfin découvrir ces belles merveilles naturelles, je prévois également d'aller dans le sud de l'Argentine pour voir le parc des glaciers... salutations de Dreux France

The water of the falls is crystal clear much of the year 💦. It only changes color when heavy rains occur in the high basins of the Iguazú River that pass through Brazil. 😉

The Argentinean side looks massive! I went on a cloudy day on the Brazilian side and there were very few people so I had great views. That's funny they assumed you're Brazilian in Argentina. In Foz de Iguaçu, the locals assumed I was Argentinean.

There are over 275 individual cascades. The combined flow of these individual falls is the largest of any waterfall in the world. It is much taller than Niagara Falls and is twice as wide. In the rainy season, there can be 450,000 cubic feet of water cascading over the falls per second.

@@slyslife Tigre it's a satellite city inside the metropolitan area that surrounds Buenos Aires city (it's in the "north zone" of the metropolitan area). The touristic part is the downtown, that is close to the river, and the islands that are close to the city (and which territories belong to Tigre, at least the close ones), where you can go (there are short travels in ship) and in some there is people living. Those islands are a small part of the Paraná river's delta (in fact people from Buenos Aires just call it "the delta"), that have many more islands during several kilometers (while the so called Río de la Plata - River Plate - actually is not a river but just the Paraná river's estuary, and starts right after the delta).

@MademoiselleRed1390
@MademoiselleRed1390 2 жыл бұрын
Both sides are great for different reasons. A good way to describe the pros of each side that I've heard (and agree because I've been to both) is that the Brazilian side has the better view but the Argentine side has the better experience because it allows you to get as close as possible, and practically be there. That's why they're not interchangeable and actually complemente each other. Thankfully it's relatively easy to cross. iDK the especifics for someone who isn't from Argentina but I'm pretty sure most tours would offer boths parks and would take care of crossing.
