i fully believe ayda just like went to a knight bc she thought hed be trustworthy and said in a casual manner to her but seemingly intense to someone else 'hello. i am ayda aguefort, wizard and librarian of the compass point, which exists in an era far flung from now. would you please hold onto this and make sure it gets to figueroth faeth in the future. she looks like this, she is the most beautiful woman ever. do not peek. thank you.' and having received this message of seemingly great importance from a 7 foot tall young woman with hair eyes and wings of fire who he could never find again he did what anyone else would do under those circumstances and started a religion.

I mean delivering a love note from a pheonix lady to a devil seems like something a group of paladins would do. In fact acting as a courier for demigods sounds like an excellent plot hook

I feel like this didn’t get as much a reaction as it deserved. You could tell Brennan was proud of this and the continuing letter-passing adventures but they didn’t feed our hungry boy as much acclaim as it deserved.
