This vedio is about the derailment of No.1008 Badulla - Colombo Express in between Watagoda and Thalawakale railway stations in 13/06/2024 at 03.15 P.M. The front bogie of the observation first class coach was derailed here.
Because of it No.1007 Colombo - Badulla Express was formed as No. 1008 from Thalawakale railway station. The passengers from Colombo were transferred to Nanuoya by buses to another special train formed as 1007.
The special thank ❤️ should be gone to the head guard of train No.1008 Mr. Harsha Gamage for his hard work to settle down the situation.And the controlling part from the Nawalapitaya section for the derailment is gone efficiently and smoothly and thanks for it for all who worked hard for it ❤️🙏.
