Isnt it amazing how, when you zoom in and pay attention, you see life happening on the surface of, and between, the leaves? All the little movements, activites, and interactions that are going on. Years ago now i stopped using herbicide/pesticides in my garden, even of the organic kind, and one reason was the desire not to interfere with these goings-on. Things look a bit messy and out of balance at times, but that's nature. :)

Yes, it is. I'm the resident 'crouching tiger' in the local parks, always looking for little creatures and trying to notice more of what's going on in a patch of vegetation. Great you stopped using chemicals in your garden. My parents did the same. My mum learned which plants deter certain kinds of unwelcome little creatures and would plant them amongst the plants she wanted to grow. It worked pretty well. But as you said, nature balances out itself. Happy gardening! 😊
