A PEARL Experiment! 💫 Vertical Swipe & New Pouring Medium! Acrylic Pouring

I really love how this vertical pearl swipe turned out! I used a new to me pouring medium with 50% floetrol and 50% Liquitex Gloss Medium in this swipe, and it looks fantastic! I think that the negative space really helps the composition on this pour and makes the colors stand out. :)

I really like the white that stayed visible in the dry result and the negative space with the black background and those colors is perfect! I’ve tried the Liquitex PM but it was pretty pricey to be using so often so I stopped, lol.

Really nice result Tony. I'm still amazed at the changing colour of those paints, every time is like a magic trick. I haven't got around to buying any Pearl Paints myself yet but I'm going to and try them in a split cup pour, just to see what happens.

@@cindybrienze8723 Depmding on what colors you used, I’m just concerned that the black will sink a little into the color and be less prominent than white typically is. It would definitely be nice, I hope the lacing sticks around though.

@@tonysfluidart I tried this pour today and used Aussie Floetrol but had little to no lacing or cells. Maybe my paints were too thick?

@@cindybrienze8723 maybe. I try to make mine a little more thin than the rest for the swipe!
