I ❤ your channel,the chosen music and your travels. I've watched you for several years, through many of your ups and downs and you certainly have mastered the ability to find beauty, to film nature's finest and to enjoy life with great appreciation. ALWAYS enjoy your cooking, truly masterful. I know you have a great love for animals and I applaud what you do with Kya, still curious, as I've asked SEVERAL times how's the kitty doing adopting to Kya?I don't think it would take but a second to say that all is well in the household. As a person whose extremely interested in geology, topography and volcanism, I always find it interesting that for so many centuries mankind refers to calling mountains that are actually Volcanoes. And most of the high peaks along the Cascade Range are volcanoes, 52 to be exact. Great video's as usual.

From what I understand and what other KZfaqrs has said.Filming a video is a lot of work with hours and hours of editing that needs to be done before uploading. The grass is not always greener on the other lawn.

Laurance lake and High Loop Trail used to be able to drive to viewpoint on Laurance Lake Road but road closed, Kinnikinnick Campground has some great walk in sites. Timberline Mountain Guides at daylodge offers classes on climbing Hood use of ice axe, self arrest techniques, rope handling and crampon use. Highly recommend for guided ascent of Mt Hood. Good luck on your future adventures recommend truck camping Australia lots of free camping on beaches etc. Little John snowpark has a campground along the east fork of hood river for 10 dollars a day off route 35 self pay. Great campground most sites right along the river.

Beautiful trail. Great pics, love being out in nature myself. Kaya would of been able to go on that trail with no problem, just bring along a water bottle for her so she doesnt get dehydrated. Peace.

You got a new mug. It looks much better than your old one. Personally I would opt for a stainless insulated mug. It keeps it hotter/colder longer and may dent, but it won't shatter. Not as much character, though.

That store bought firewood, generally, the only thing they do to it is dry it in a Kiln (like pottery). Just look at the package and see if it says Kiln Dried. If so, cook away. Just be aware that pine wood has a resiny taste that doesn't do that great with beef hahaha. I think you made the right choice searing it in the pan for sure
