As a Cellist, and has played winter from the four seasons by Vivaldi, I can confirm that there a cello part.

The original score does not have a cello part. Instead it has a basso continuo line that needs at least one sustain instrument and at least one chordal instrument. Many combinations are possible but cello and harpsichord is the most common.
