To all the haters this is one of many styles of music, there is demand for this kind of composition, a branch of electronic music without percussions. Colin Benders uses this plus percussions.

@@qishmish ... It has a lot more to do with minimalist composer Steve Reich than the German space/Kosmische/New Age/ambient (Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Ash Rah, Popol Vuh). Listen to works like Music for 18 Musicians and Tehillim by Reich, you'll hear similar rhythmic structures and emotional content.

Love it, I really like this interviewer, he seems so respectful to the musicians and his questions are quite poignant, so much so it's like he hears what I am wondering and asks the question, well done. :edit after listening to this, well done Caterina, gorgeous original exploration. This is a whole new show to my point of observation. SUCH discussion and on a really ‘big-brained’ level. I want to get a better idea of just what she was saying, maybe if there could be a separate discussion track that would simultaneously explain the performance while it’s playing!?! She’s got to have video game nerds drooling all over her mains leads to the point it would be taboo even to anthropologists! This is the sound I always wanted to make on my gear. I used my old Akai S-20 to do the whole ‘multi-timbral’ stuff way back and I was really feeling a sense of achievement. This takes me to the days of these great ambient sets before the shops separated the music into classifications and ‘genres’. Really takes the whole ‘Global’ sense of anything, puts a unique touch of DNA for proper classification, then add some mutations. Mix it in like a chameleon them strips the DNA again to bring it full circle, and all in a multitude of ways and in uncountable instances.
