Welcome to Rustling Dawn, a project by Grand Acres. Located at the shores of Lake Elementaita and is right next to Sirville resort.
The parcel is subdivided into 22 quarter acre plots. Only an hour 40 minutes drive from Nairobi down the Nakuru highway, 30 minutes from Naivasha and 30 minutes from Nakuru.

I really have a problem accepting this… why don’t we leave such places as nature conservation areas? I think it’s more beautiful that way.. The moment humans start populating the area, the more the pollution and soon enough we’ll lose the beauty and the UNESCO status all together… I wonder who issues licenses in kenya 😏😏😏

We fully understand your concern. Allow us to chime in. There are strict regulations enforced by the various government agencies namely WARMA, KWS and the County Government of Nakuru around such heritage sites. One cannot just develop anything that they want. This is evident via the various resorts and residences that are within this same ecology for the past many years. Additionally, approval processes have taken us 8 years to date and as you can imagine there is rhyme and reason for the same, all in the name of following due process. The relevant bodies dictate settlement in such areas to the extent that KWS has already fenced off their territory at the Lake front of this property to protect the Lake ecology. Lastly, our masterplan, which will assist in settling our customers here, has incorporated the regulations around building types, waste management, accessibility types and to top it all off a buffer at the Lake front to preserve the heritage of the Lake that is a UNESCO world heritage site. @GrandAcresLTD I do not blame you but the bodies concerned with the issuance of licenses in Kenya. Fish rots from the head! I really just wish the kenyan government would highly guard such places from human population! Sad!
