Jessy had a church in Fort Wayne,IN. I never knew this until a few years back.. I agree with other commenters..he was one of a kind and his voice was that of an angel.. That song he sang was absolutely beautiful!! I too would love to have that when it's my turn to go home.. Thank you for making this wonderful video and putting the song to it.. you did a great job!! A Beautiful soul that touched many souls. Thank You Lord for having shared him with us and thank you Bill Gaither for airing and sharing your programmes through which this dynamite 'shone'/'shines'. Some of us did not know until many years later that he had died.

I LOVED JESSY DIXON! He was an incredible artist, amazing voice and gospel-style and I enjoyed talking with him backstage. I was at his concert in London, ON Canada the evening that his mother died. He continued on with the concert and shared to the audience that his mother had passed that day. We were also at a Benny Hinn service in Toronto, in the early 2000s and he was so anointed and we left that auditorium still singing his song! I'm sure that he is a part of the Heavenly Choir when we all get there and get to see the Lord, face to face!

I didn't learn about Jessy's death until just now. I am so very sad to learn of this. He was a wonderful gospel song. The world will miss you Jessy Dixon, but you are there with the Father.

I first heard Jessy when he came onto a Gaither concert I attended. I had never heard or seem him before that night. He came out in a bright Yellow suit, tall lean and when he opened his mouth and began to sing, I saw a man who took total control of that stage and had the crowd standing as he held us all in the palms of his hands. What a voice, what singing, i brought every one of his CD's that night and fell in love with his voice, his gift that God gave to him. Loved him and was always so happy when he would be at a gaither concert. He could tear up that stage and reach right down into your heart with Gods message. Miss U Jessy, but now you have God's angels rocking and tearing up the heavens with so many gaither singers that have gone before you and since your passing. RIP and thank you for all the beautiful music.

I just recently became acquainted with Jessy's ministry... sadly after his passing. I have his videos saved to my KZfaq Favorites, and enjoy them every day. yes even now I cant imagine that he passed away, i used to sing all of his songs that sometimes i tears for the joy that God has given, this man is truly God's instrument for us the way he sing the song that full of joy with heavenly choir voices, we missed you Pastor Jessy and now you with our Creator.

I remember when Jesse Dixon came to Jamaica. I was just a teenager then, but I was so blessed by his performance that even today he has been one of my best gospel artiste. He sang with the anointing and it was evident that he loved the Lord Jesus Christ! You have done all that you could have done Bro. Jesse Dixon and I know God is well pleased because your ministry has not only blessed many people but have drawn many people to Christ. Sleep on Brother Jesse until that great reunion. Thanks to his family who have shared his life with us. May the Lord bless them richly.

This guy touches every nerve of my spirit and emotions. What a servant of the gift the Lord gave to you .. there will never be another Jessy Dixon but we have all these videos to remind us how God uses you when we needed Jessy Dixon the most.

Sometimes, things happen and we don't get to know on time and in time. Only today, I came to learn of Jesses departure to heaven. It does not matter for us, and won't change the admiration, and the gratitude for his life, all he did to "spread the goo news" May he rest in peace. He will still be on my homepage with all I can get from his works, his music, the magic that followed his performances. However I have to say, that as I got to know, it was like loosing the closest of friends even though we never met, but I had a chance to watch him in one of the Gaithers presentation in Worcester MA
