Well, there's what they would've done to Hugo had that jerk alchemist early in the game gotten what he wanted. I said this in the Innocence playthrough but really, this is not shit a five year old child should go through. Most intense chapter so far, the whole thing felt like a medieval version of the Origin lab from F.E.A.R., with a touch of Chaos to spice things up.

I know I've seen it many times but still that scene of Basilius in her chains always gets me in tears like come on even after all these centuries those godforsaken f***t***s of alchemists still couldn't understand that the Protector and the Carrier must be together to avoid that accursed malevolence from getting the upper hand 😡😡😡😮‍💨🤦 Edit: sorry guys misunderstanding 😔 hold on I'll fix it

people are just..so..so awful..and thats I guess the lesson here. Its soul crushing to find out all those dreams led him to..well that, poor child. poor amecia..poor everyone on this island who just had a weird cult but was generally pretty nice. this games so depressing wow ; ;
