Every single day, I'm living in the miracle. Been wondering the "hows" and "whys" of the goodness of God. In every good and bad, I see the mercy of God upon me. The more the world is turning astray, the more God's grace is visible. Oh, words fall short to describe His love. Just a simple reminder of His love.
Love's Way of Love
Came loathed with the weight of the past
Yet You embraced me without a question asked.
Before I could complete, "I'm not worthy to be",
In a royal ring and robe You clothed me.
That heart chose the condemned hill of Calvary
Enduring scorn’s decree to bring me out of slavery
From Egypt to the promised land,
You held me close by Your righteous right hand
That's Love's way of love!
How could you leave Your kingly glory?
From realms of light into my lowly story?
From the manger to the crucifixion,
Till the triumphant resurrection,
Love himself has given His all,
To redeem my soul from eternal fall.
My frailty now meet Your omnipotence
And my shackles, Your presence
That's Love's way of love!
While we gamble and make sport of You,
While we scoff the sovereignty of You,
Thy words were only of forgiving grace
There, You settled my case.
While I holler “save yourself” in pride,
You saved me and gave life.
Mine are the crown of thorns You wore,
I was the stray lamb You left the ninety nine for
That's Love’s way of love!
“Why would He endure that cursed tree?”
I wonder. Yet for the joy of seeing me free,
Beyond pain, You chose to have me home
And called me as Your own.
Thus I say, silver or gold isn't my worth
Nor of riches of the earth
But the precious, sacred blood
Shed on the cross by heaven's beloved
That's Love's way of love!
They seek for perfection to bless
But You didn't mind my burdens and mess
“Neither do I condemn you” You said
And hushes the accusing voices like a loyal friend
Time and again still I’d stumble and fall
Thus calling myself the least of all
Yet You have compared me with none
But You, the spotless lamb, who has won.
That's Love's way of love!
Behold, The Truth, the Freedom Fighter,
There's nothing left He didn't conquer!
Sweats of blood couldn't keep Him
Death couldn't stop Him
From the relentless pursuit of my heart
That's how Love echoes His sublime art.
Any hero would die for a worthy righteous
But mine died at and for my worst
That's Love's way of love!
In the love beyond human’s finite grasp,
In the pristine fountain that last,
The reign of death is forever gone
For the unquenchable Zoe has dawned!
Awaken, oh weary soul, and see,
The splendour of your King!
Enthroned in the highest place
Worshipped by the saints
That's Love's way of love!
If Love himself defends me,
I dare say, no fear has the key!
If the resurrection cannot be undone,
Forever then, we have overcome!
You set a banquet before my adversaries,
And greets my morns with fresh mercies
Oh, to dance to the rhythm of your melodies!
Your letters, I'd cherish and read ceaselessly
