I’ve never seen anything as cool as this made with polymer clay. I don’t see anyone with long salon nails being able to smooth the top out from the inside like that. I do to much with my hands and would rather not have the nails in my way. Not knocking beautiful nails at all here. ❤ I love how the colors of this box come out. Love it. That cord closure was brilliant, also a very smart way of doing that.

Thank you so much. This is quite a simple way to make a tidy box! I play guitar so my left hand nails are shorter than my right. Oh, well, gotta do what we gotta do, right? Lol. ❤️😊

As usual Donna, this is wonderful. I don't know if it's just my computer or the browser (Chrome), but there are so many times that you are talking about something but I can see it because it's off-screen. If it's just me, I'll troubleshoot. Thank you so much for graciously sharing your expertise with us!

You know, there are. I have a manicure set that is ellipse shaped and straight sided. The form must have one end that is straight and does not flare out so you can remove the clay. I think simple shapes are best. Round can be more difficult to make patterns match as the two pieces might move. Make sense?😊❤️

Brilliant, tute as always, but where can I get the metal Atiko tall ellipse forms? No,luck with manicure sets despite much searching?

Hi Jill! The manufacturer is Ateco. I looked at Amazon and you can only get the ellipse in a set. Boo. I'd google, Ateco Ellipse Petit Four Cutters and see!

Donna, I love your videos! I had a question for you. I am wanting to use the translucent clay (Kato of course! :) ) but when I bake it it turns yellow. I don't think that's what it's supposed to do is it? What am I doing wrong?
@DonnaKatoArt
@DonnaKatoArt 11 ай бұрын
David, you are doing nothing wrong. We are in the process of correcting that. It yellows. Now, my pal Bettina corrects some by adding violet to translucent and that counteracts the yellowing quite a bit! 😊❤️

Hi Donna, apologies for asking so many questions, as im sure you have a lot to respond to...The top,of the black box behind tge orange/ blue one has a glossy top and im wondering if you used the old Pym 2, which has now been replaced i believe by the U pol #1 clear. Yes or no works for me...less time. Jill x
