Most of the KZfaqrs in the "making video" genre I've followed for years videos have become extended advertisements. I understand that advertisers are now demanding much more promotional time for their products than the mention that used to be enough, but I've lost interest in this kind of thing, particularly because these influencers tend to be pitching, unlike in the old days, gear that is far beyond my ability to ever afford (or need, for that matter). I guess this progression is inevitable given how lucretive KZfaq has become for top earners. It's hard, though, to relate to KZfaqrs who fly all over the world and shoot vlogs with cinema cameras as many do. I'm glad for their success, just kind of left me behind. Guys like Peter Lindgren have earned their success, for sure. But the trappings of that success have made them un-relatable to me. JMHO.

Not the first time I've made a similar comment to yours. I stopped watching tv because I hate ads, I condone youtube ads because it pays people who's content I actually appreciate... now there's ads inside of the video of the people who's content I used to appreciate. Or.. the whole video is an ad. I know people need to buy lunch.. but man.. Some people like BestBoy Adam actually try to show how they use in it their work,modify the stuff and what they actually dislike. Back when Peter did the shots with his friend in the bar, I was way more engaged.

IMO if it’s related to what the channel is about, and in this case it’s not unrelated, I think it’s totally OK and fun to see what’s new out there. I cannot relate this at all to an ad on TV? But off course we are all different! 😃

The thing is, that whenever I do those “good old videos”, most people complain and say that I should do something different. It’s easy standing on the sideline saying that “Peter should be doing the good old videos again”, but since this is my job, Im trying to do both sponsored videos AND “regular” videos.

This seems to be a cool product. But honestly, when I go out in the nature, I want to listen to the trees, animals, water or whatever. The last thing coming into my mind is watching movies. In this case I‘d prefer to stay at home and enjoy my 5.1 Dolby Surround 😉 Don‘t take me wrong, I still love your content and it looks like you‘ve had a lot of fun on that trip. And that is what matters. Keep doin‘ that great things, dude.

I have several projectors and build a home theater downstairs, also have a houseboat and thought of setting up outdoor theater outside, looks so cool in videos, however here in Canada as soon as it is dark million mosquitos and bugs come out and eat you alive .

I looked up this product. And sadly all is not as it would appear to be in this video 🙄 not so portable after all. You will need to bring an AC power supply with you !! Looking at the size of it you would think it had a lithium battery in it for a few hours of playback, but no it doesn’t ! Quite an important thing to have left out the video really.

Yeah it’s great for 1800 dollars? Might as well buy an 85 inch tv that you use all the time. I would have emphasized that this may be a replacement for a home tv. If it can’t run like 24/7 then I would see this as a hard pill to swallow.

@@DrWasim Everybody loves Peter don't they :) Gotta say, your focus on a healthy body, getting moving and eating the "right" amount of food as opposed to "get thin" and fasting and diets and stuff really got me going in terms of just cutting down slightly on portions to get going, and almost immediately the results started showing on the scale, and then combining that with an increased level of activity in terms of walking uphill to Frysja and my workshop for 45 min every morning, and home after work, started shaving of grams every week, turning into kilos, and the added energy levels made it easier to start playing basketball and skateboarding again, increasing the activity levels further, not having to change my foods that much. Going from a 110kg to 98 now, and having a goal of 89kg by christmas (I'm 185 tall and generally healthy and sort of "muscular"/strong for not working out at all) - All we need now is for Peter to do some of his workout session video's again, maybe turning his expanded office space into a partial home gym and give us some exercises to do (I hate gyms and would rather work out in my workshop) :D
