We are so back, I finally completed episode two of this Posers Guide series. I hope it was worth the wait. From here I'll be talking about Les Legion Noires in episode three, American Black Metal in episode four and DSBM in episode five. From there I'll just be making up episode plans as I go along. Until then, I'd highly look forward to part three.
There was a shitton in this specific chapter of Black Metal I didn't get to properly mention in this episode. I plan to cover a lot of the significance of this genre of Black Metal as well as other aspects of it that made it stand out in an extremely far in the future episode.

Picking down and up is alternate picking! Tremolo picking is a very specific type of hyper fast alternate picking! Guitar is neat

Fun fact: Varg wrote and released a table top rpg back in 2015 called MYFAROG. It's terrible. Also he's stated that he hates anyone that doesn't have blue eyes. He said looking into brown eyes was like looking into two butt holes. Guy must be a lot of fun at parties.

Yes and no, one of the fragments went for sale around 5 years ago so theres some backing to the necklace legend but it was just the fragment and not a necklace.

Once I get these main episodes out of the way, im gonna go back and shine a light on other bands I didnt mention bc ik i mentioned the surface level especially in this episode. If you have suggestions ill keep them in mind when I go back to cover other bands.

I like burzum but i think war has gotta be my least favourite black metal song ever. The vocals are SOO bad compared to all other black metal and also the intro is just corny.
