This afternoon, I was sitting at my window watching the snow fall around my horse, Tia. We had had to separate her from the other horses, and it frustrated me. I asked my husband, “how can we teach Tia to get along with the other horses?” He said, we can’t, it’s just in her nature, and we just need to give her some grace.
Well, that got me to thinking about the phrase that I use at the end of my videos, “have grit and give grace” and that this was the perfect example for illustrating that truth.
I hope that it can be a help to someone who may be struggling with having grit and giving grace to either horses or people in your life.
