I am not sure if I have high porosity hair or not. My hair is very thin, soft and shiny but the cuticle looks like it is standing up throughout my hair. I have both the redkin bonding and the volume shampoo and conditioner.

My hair is fine, straight-ish (2a), soft, very healthy virgin hair that acts like high porosity curly hair. It's not damaged, but he moment humidity hits it (like every AM), it frizzes wildly into a misshappen mass, then flattens out when the air dries out. Silicone products did nothing. The only things that have helped are DIY flax gel (to coat) & covering it in the AM until the humidity drops. It gets wet instantly, & dries quickly. I hear a lot of hairstylists on KZfaq saying that hair is only high porosity if it is curly, coarse, or damaged, and mine is none of those. My stylist has confirmed my hair is perfectly healthy. Is it possible I have naturally porous hair, without damage or real curls? Or is there another possibility? It took me decades to even hear of porous hair, but info is murky.
