The unfortunate thing with the VA's pronouncing stuff, Hoyo has actively seemingly told the VA's to pronounce it "the American way" to "not confuse the Americans"

Noo, I've heard that reasoning before and it's frustrating! (ex. a Japanese song being called Sukiyaki - which is a food and has no relevance to the song - just because it would be 'easier' for Americans) We need to encourage learning!

fun fact about demi god being in kujo sara’s kanji : sara is a tengu. tengus are a race of yokai or demons or demi gods in japanese mythology. hence why she has that word in her kanji in my personal theory.

I know the videos old, but as a little tip for anyone having trouble with pronouncing Japanese "r"s - I like to think of it as a combination of an R, L, and D. For me, the main thing it the tongue touching the top of the mouth, behind the teeth. Another note, is that the Japanese language is mainly spoken from the middle/back of the mouth, rather than the front

not sure if you'll see this as it might be a little too late BUT Ayaka's name kanji is wrong, it's 綾華! really good video tho! I have a friend that says "yay meeko" and it makes me die inside a little every time so hopefully this helps some people 😅 will there be a part 2?
