I’ve had quite a few requests to see what Bolt Action armies I have, so this week I’ve taken them all out of the cabinets so that we can have a quick review of my collection (So far😉)

Thank you mate, its not till you get them all out that you realise how much your collections grown. Everything I complete one I think that will do now, but then another one takes my eye😂

Well done so far. Would be a shame to sell off part of an Army then regret it later on.. Cant wait to see them set up with the terrain you have been working on.

Yes I know what you mean, will give it some more thought. I’m working on setting up some tables of all the stuff I’ve been building for my Market Garden project, I know a lot of people of asking me to. I wanted to start it earlier, but it’s been tough lately as I had a bout of flu and then followed it up with Covid, great start to the year😂 Thanks for watching.

GREAT COLLECTION well detailed figs and some thought has gone into the AFVS and stowage etc! No argument that BOLT ACTION AFVS etc build up a treat. the 1/56 th scale is a newbie to me ; being of the WOGELLER generation that grew up with ..and remains loyal to the trad of 20mm :1-72 and 1-76 scale figs and AFVS ETC. BUT I gave in ...lol a few years ago and have in only a few years FORMED and am still expanding a US airborne and BR ARMY:FMNS such as 2d IRISH GDS ARMRD ... SCREAMING EAGLES and 82nd ABN ALSO a generic US ARMOURED FMN (with a biase toward PATTONS 3D ARMY ) SO! I really like your GENERIC approach and that you are keeping the AFV numbers low etc ; but as stated have an option to combo 2 or more KAMPFGRP etc to form a larger FMN :ie formation !! my tendency is the opposite ..lol in having tank / armour heavy tactical units ! As for BLT ACTION WARGAMING I'll need to be getting a lot more of the action as my initial forays left me very dissatisfied TBT. it has been a mega learning curve from WARGAMING as I knew it ?! I have watched your FOY BTL ENGAGEMENT VIDEOS and some of the tutorials and will be looking at many others THANKS and good luck to ALL WOGELLERs and modellers everywhere !! As an HMF VETERAN the hobby has been a tonic to me and trust me many others too !

Thanks mate, I was of that generation too but when I returned to modelling and gaming I opted for the 28mm for the the sake of my eyes😂. I think all the old war films have strongly influenced my choices but it was The Band of Brothers Series that saw me plug for the US Airborne army first and the rest just flowed from that. so sorry about you luck with covid. I have been taking 50mg of Zinc about every three days also have had all shots no covid

Yes it’s not been the best start, I’ve had all the jabs and boosters, even the flu jabs but I still managed to get it. I’m still trying to shake off a cough and lack of energy, roll on spring. Cheers for watching😉

Hi Mim, yes once you go back and layout all your work in one shot, it looks very impressive. I play a different game (MESBG) but when I was showing friends my layout I lined up all the armies and they counted over 200 plus Extras and the terrain pieces and the board. It shocked me to see all that I had done. Seeing your collection of men, vehicles and the terrain buildings etc. reminds me that all the videos you made amounted to this massive assembly of troops. I'm glad I am part of this journey. Thanks for sharing with us. PS I am still waiting patiently to see them all in play in a game on the board. Although I am aware of your house situation. Yes it’s really surprising when you look back at what you’ve built, when I think back to my first army I never realised I would go on to make so many. My terrain alone fills several boxes. If I ever do sell the house, it would be nice to find one with an attic room where I can keep it all😂. Thanks so much for all your support and encouragement it really does mean a lot.🙂
