When applying the colors, if it gets too dark, let it set up a bit (I wait a day usually) and then go over it with a wet brush gently to take some of the paint off the more raised surfaces. Also, you can use the same wet brush where two colors come together to draw them out and blend them creating a cool blended transition.

Amazing results for transparent paint! I feel yhe poison effect could benefit for a slower display/step-by-step or maybe a video on its own, as the result is so cool, but not too clear how you obtain it hist from the description and video. Thanks for sharing your skills!
