Normally people from western countries are used to such temperatures. For us this is new thing which our body has to accommodate. But the effort is amazing. It's very rare that we people see penguins live. they are like our kids which don't know whether someone is watching or not. They will be on their own. Thank you. When the Northern hemisphere is tilted towards the Sun, the North Pole remains in the light for the whole of the day (24 hours). This position remains for six months (from 21st March to 23rd September). - On the contrary, in the Southern hemisphere, the South Pole does not get light during these six months. Hence it experiences night for six months. - When the Southern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun, the South Pole remains in light for 24 hours for six months from 23rd Septemeber to 21st March. Reverse are the conditions at the North Pole - six months' night. Now it's polar nights (for 6 months) in antartica....

If anyone asks about the word called Breath Taking, just show this video. Literally felt like landing into another world which we see in Hollywood movies. Icebergs are such a beauty ❤ You would reach more heights and fame Kumar. Best wishes for that. Real example of Passion , Interest and Determination. Mainly you have broken all myths about Antartica and explained us in detail and clearly about the seasons and weather. I think Intrepid will see more bookings after seeing your video 😊

Bro, Congratulations on your trip to Antarctica 🎉 But you should have definitely taken snow goggles and ear to neck fur with you. It’s very essential to navigate such harsh conditions. And 1deg in Antarctica/Artic cannot be compared with 1 deg in the temperate regions of earth. The wind especially, and humidity in air make it feel a whole different a lot colder. We should always check “feels like” temperature in weather app before we head out in harsh winters. Frost bite is very dangerous and people lack this knowledge especially from tropical regions of the world and expose themselves to bare skin so much which can lead to permanent burn of the area and even may lose limbs or permanent distortions in body. I wish you could have at least used your head cap to cover your nose to mouth to give warmth so it wouldn’t have felt numb which is exactly the starting point of frost bite. Be safe, Bro!! Great Efforts!
