Thanks. I was havong a terrible time figuring out from the in-game tutorials that the station platform needed to extend from the station but parallel to the tracks. That’s pretty different from the way stations have worked in other train games I’ve played and I just couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I’m not a big fan of long-play series, just cause I’m too impatient to sit through them, but I really enjoy how you seem to have an enthusiasm about both the game and your supporters, without feeling fake like some of the bigger gaming youtubers do. This seems like a channel worth bookmarking for sometime when I want something relaxing to watch.

Watch for updates on things like release date, and brief top level overview of the game, but don't do the research I normally do on a game before showcasing it here, looking up dev details, past work they have done, images and even demos if possible Sweet Transit has had demos up previously

People already walk to work, some processing plants are in the towns (won't spoil with any more detail than that). The water tower is also a workplace, as is the fishing dock.

Somebody should tell the devs - steam engines don't idle while they're sitting still. It sounds very silly to me when the train is waiting at a station.

It seems they don't chew fuel when sitting idle, but the animations still show steam and smoke leaving the loco. So who knows

If I could afford it, I would be tempted to support you through KZfaq, just so that I could be added to map. Then, you would have MichaelGuildersleeve station and michelguenette station, in order to confuse you. Two names with MG would not be confusing at all! ;) I still remember playing one of the train games in the late 90's on a friend's PC. It was not a long playthrough, but something to get a taste for it. I am wondering if your train configurations will be similar to the ship in Captain of Industry, such that you need different modules for different cargo. As well, you will probably need to have some sidetracks to act like bypasses. With only a few things unlocked, it might take a few more episodes to get deeper into the game. As my ability to watch videos waxes and wanes, I will try to catch them, as they appear.

OOOh that anno comparison is nice, wondering if you would be open to doing an anno 2070 letsplay? they are going to update it on the seventh! also anno 2070 is arguably the best anno game.

honestly probably not. If we get another new Anno I'd consider it, but 2070 is 10 years old at this date, which means If I did look at playing it it would be on Twitch as live streams not KZfaq

@@JDPlays understandable, just a heads up the reason that 2070 is so good is it was released right as the cashgrab phase for the series was ramping up, so the only two downsides are a dlc being requried for one of the factions last teir, and a constant internet connection for some features (i think they patched that out tho.)

I will grant you a like when you stop referring to them as slaves. I realize it's a game, but I'm not a fan of the term, or of anything that normalizes it.

I honestly will swap between calling them slaves and call them workers more as the series continues. As we tax them logically means we have to pay them so we can tax them. But often when it comes to the term 'workers' I will refer to them as slaves in almost any game as its not as if they have any choice on where they want to work!
