We are sisters, Julia and Anastasia Vanderbyl. A few years ago, we began a journey to live a life in perfect harmony with nature. A life of caring for animals, growing fruit, planting trees, gardening, cooking, creating, building and learning to live with the land.
In this time, nature has taught us more than we could have ever imagined.
Our environmental films document the landscape, the lessons we’ve learnt and our work as regenerative farmers here on Bundjalung Country.
We live on the land of the Arakwal and Minjungbal People of the Bundjalung Nation. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Country we live on and recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters. We thank them for protecting this rainforest and its ecosystems since time immemorial.

Julia, Anastasia both of your skills of artistic talent is mind blowing to see. Capturing a site of something you have seen and recreating it leaves me speechless at the least. I have a art background,have done paintings. My work is minoristic after seeing Julia's work. At 66 years of age, I still can appreciate works of art, anyhow I can no longer achieve those skills I once had little as they may be. Please keep sharing both of your (GIFTS) that God has bestowed upon you. It is refreshing to see,takes my mind off of the depressing things of our Earth. Positivity is so uplifting.

Dear Anastasia, Julia and Mother. I am so happy to see you back from your travels and for your latest posting. I've missed your weekly videos and in particular, Anastasia's soothing voice, which lowers my Blood Pressure by Ten points. Glad to hear you all had such a great time in London and Europe and a very memorable Christmas. Yes, I can relate to going somewhere new and feeling - and behaving - like a child again. Can't wait to see how all your sketches and drawings, translate into different projects; especially all your new dresses. Your visit to Sainte-Chapelle brought back happy memories of my visit to Paris in 1960, as a Twelve year-old schoolboy. We also went to Notre Dame, where I discovered the joys of Organ music. I was devastated when it burnt down in 2019. I hope to be able to visit again, when it re-opens. Looking forward to what you have in store for us next week. Love, Russ xxx

Just as I was starting to write this comment, I spent some time watching your view counter clicking over. I've never seen one do that before. That's ten new viewers. Amazing. Anyway, watching as that portrait unfolded, the thought came to me that you should consider entering a portrait in the Archibald Prize, if you haven't already done that. I believe your work is of that quality. I also wanted to say that your land is looking nice and lush now after the rains. It's always a pleasure to watch your videos.

Cute! Paint as well as the art train and so is the results gain and again becomes more clear and plain just beautiful now and then. Sounds cool when it rains doing what you do outdoors but so sweet gaming indoors as it showers and showers in a closed windows..
