Wha- why are people complaining? 😮 This is literally some of the most exciting part of moving. Building furniture, moving things around, decorating. I love it all. Definitely take your time and have fun with it!

Are you kidding, people complaining about your apartment? It takes time to settle in and figure out where to put things. I think that your new apartment is lovely and you are doing your best. Hi Alexis, just a suggestion; consider getting furniture raisers for your desk -high enough to make room for the drawers. Amazon has them, fairly affordable and in a variety of styles. Hope it helps! Loving the videos ;)

So many people underestimate how difficult it is to get furniture and organization stuff in NYC and get it home! Also, if you don't let yourself get used to the space and how you use it, you risk buying stuff you won't actually use just to get stuff organized and then end up with too much clutter. It sucks to live in chaos, but it also can help you spend your money more intentionally and end up with a space that actually works for you.

Those complainers should see my house! After five years of being my husband's sole 24/7 caregiver (he has Alzheimer's)--dust bunnies, heaps of unorganized paperwork, laundry that's been waiting six months to get put away and random piles of crap are some of my best friends. I think your apartment is looking better and better, and it's such a lovely, spacious place for Manhattan! Nice work! I'd only make one suggestion: switch the big shelf and your coffee station in the kitchen. The big shelf tends to lean outward and is just, well, big. It would look better in the background, facing us, not looming towards you from the side. That might shut up some of the complainers, actually.

I think people forget how when you move it is like multiple months of work, it's not just a few days of moving boxes around and then you are done. Especially when you are working and doing life stuff. I moved in November into an apartment in the Bronx and I still don't have any of my pictures/art on the walls and I have boxes that I kinda refuse to sort through cause who has the time. So I get it, I share the struggle but I think you are doing great and the apartment is cute. I love that you actually have a kitchen now with so much room!

Who freaking cares if your home is messy. You could have a messy home in your videos for the rest of your life and I wouldn't care. Your apartment isn't even that messy. It's just in a transitional state..I deal with ADHD and mental health issues and my house is messy a lot of the time. When people come over I tidy up for them but if I'm in a deep depression I'm not folding and putting away clothes. I'm living out of a basket. I know it bothers people but it's my life and my home. Idk why they put so much energy into caring about other people's homes, clothes, diets, etc. I think you're doing great and love your new apartment.. You seem much lighter and happier. I'm proud of you and excited to see how your apartment transition continues. Also love the Campbell's soup art

Hello fellow cancerian! I love how excited you and Bennet are about your new apartment! In regards to your headaches- trying using a water tracker app on your phone to ensure you are having enough water daily. And next time you get a check up ask them to do check your vitamin d levels- being winter and dark sometimes we are lacking- it will help with anxiety.

get some risers for the desk legs and you can put that filing cabinet or whatever under the desk. Still probably not a great place for it since it could limit your leg room while sitting at the desk.

Another wonderful vlog...you can get desk and chair leg floor protectors to put under the desk legs that should raise your desk enough for the cabinet to fit under...they come in different thickness get the thickness (with maybe a bit of extra thickness) you need! oh and that tree from homegoods should have little light ornaments that go in the holes that ight up when you turn on the switch to look like christmas lights- maybe they are sold separately?...ya feel me? I also feel like there is 3-6 months grace to get things together when moving - f** the chat trolls! Dang I have been in my 1/1/2 bedroom apartment for 7 years and am still seriosuly downsizing from 3+ bedroom home! lol.
