Ah bringing me back memories back from 2015...Used to stay at a hotel nearby in Avenel and used to commute regularly to NYC from Rahway station. Similar vibes with me recording, taking pics of trains running on the fast lane while waiting.

our first trainset of TGV-M (Avelia Horizon,sister train of Avelia Liberty) is assembled in La Rochelle Alstom plant.The first power car was transported from the Belfort factory where the power cars are built. First trainset ready to ride probably for May or June fun fact... there are still 11 Euroduplex trainset to be delivered.

@RADZADproductions2 жыл бұрын
Northern New Jersey has a ton of rail lines run by NJ transit that run into NYC. The North East Corridor also runs through a large chunk of New Jersey which is why you see Acela. That line runs from NYC (originates in Boston) to Washington DC.

I’m so jealous of the northeast corridors long straight lines of multiple track. Our population amount is way less significant but I do wish that the northwest between Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver had something. Amtrak cascades has to wait behind freight trains and meander along super curved routes. The route has a few cities but in between those cities are nothingness of just endless forests and floodplains

I wonder why do some of the NJ Transit consists have the locomotive at the back instead of the front.
@nossta52422 жыл бұрын
Maybe they're just heading back down the route because it ended. This happens with other trains too
@OntarioTrafficMan2 жыл бұрын
They're push-pull trains, so they can run in either direction. If the locomotive is at the front, they use its cab, otherwise they use a cab in the coach at the opposite end of the train. At the end of the line they don't turn the whole train around, the operators just walk to the other end of the train and head back the other way.

Why is Amtrak running head and tail engines on the Keystone trains so much? I thought it was maybe the cab cars were in short order but nope. 2 of the 4 Keystone trains with head/tail engines still had the cab cars in place, while the other two were single engine. I'm seeing the head and tail configuration more and more on Keystone trains and can't come with a reason why. This has started happening somewhat recently.

There are no trains going backwards in this video, but I think you mean the cab cars. They added cab cars so they could save time at dead-end stations they have build in cabs where the train driver can sit in and control the train
