I’m not the only one who has this Demo Alexa. I asked this person if they still have one and if they could make a video for proof…. This is what they gave me.

I’m looking to buy it so I can download the OS off of it for preservation of the Demo Operating System

like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, kzfaq.infoUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....

So when people want to push the button to hear Alexa say what she does (as a demo does) you can set it to wake up with voice too and change how loud it is. that loudness would depend on what store it’s displayed at. Best Buy would be like Max volume while a small Verizon story would be probably just below half volume

To enter admin mode in Alexa: 1. Be sure that the microphone is mute, then press and hold the action mode until a rainbow ring appears. 2. Once it has a rainbow ring, you've entered admin mode. Features in admin mode: Volume control - When admin mode is on, use the ring to adjust volume. To exit admin mode in Alexa: 1. You must first check your settings before exiting admin mode. Once you're ready, press the action button. 2. After that, it will not display the rainbow ring, which means you've exited admin mode.

It was already too late by time I got this one. They got replaced with newer echos that are nothing more than just a speaker and lights in a hollow plastic shell. No brains in them at all. If I knew this before the new ones came out i would have done it at 100% volume in every single time I found one in a store xD I don’t even think the employees know how to get into the Admin mode to reset the volume back xD. We just set up the models on a shelf. We don’t even read the manual tbh xD I’m sure the manual said something about it
